It does the job with one catch
They do what they are supposed to do. A nice small basic Z-Wave sensor. The range of these devices is very short so make sure that you have a few other repeating Z wave devices scattered in different rooms through your house.

This product is HORRIBLE - Do Not Purchase it
You would think that a branded product would work seamlessly with the BR200 but nope. I had a generic z-wave temp/humidity sensor that worked perfectly. Continual updates on both temp and RH. This unit goes weeks, yes WEEKS between updates for RH. No documentation that tells you there is a polling interval or anything like that. Forced updates - don't work. Temp does not get updated "regularly" either. It goes hours, sometimes over a day without an update. I called Support to see if they could help me. I got a very non-plussed person on the phone who sounded like it was an effort to provide customer service. Their advice? Reset and re-add it. Do you think I didn't try that already? I told her that and her response was "beyond that I can't help you".Why did I change if I already had a sensor that worked? Well because Nexia only recognized one of the two functions on the generic unit: temp or RH - not both. I am seriously considering going back to Vera. I switched to Nexia because of the Trane thermostats and wanted better functionality/control. One set forward 2 steps back.

Good sensor
Do not use this sensor with tran and American thermostats

OK but not quite accurate.
Seems to be a degree or 2 off when compared to a standard thermometer. I have two of them and when placed in the same room, side by side, they read different temps. Not sure there is a way to calibrate them.

Stops Updating RH very quickly.
I have had this unit for a few weeks now and am NOT at all happy with it.I bought it to help monitor and control humidity. It started out so-so but quickly went south. The first RH report took almost a day. Then it worked ok for about a week when it stopped reporting RH (temp reports all the time).I removed it and re-enrolled it with no change. If I remove a battery and replace it, it will report on temp AND RH, but only by taking out a battery and putting it back.If you are looking to use this to monitor or control RH, STAY AWAY!

Works, but “needs upgrade”
Have no idea how to upgrade it.

WILL NOT WORK WITH TRANE IN ANY WAY
The captions/notes state that it won't override the internal sensor... what it should read is that it will not, in any way, work with a TRANE system. ZSENS930 will be the only option regardless of what Nexia says.
