Fabulous and kosher :)
This Bottarga is soft and fresh tasting, really wonderful. Color, smell and taste are excellent. I will definitely be buying more! I had a small issue when I asked about the kosher certification and the company responded quickly and resolved all my questions. Highly recommended!

Inconsistent quality.
My family is from the Mediterranean, so I have eaten Boutargue since I was a child (40+ yeas) and I have tried many brands. My first order from this company was amazing - soft and fresh - took me back to my childhood. But this time, the product I received was a HUGE disappointment. It was hard, dried out, and bitter. The wax, which is supposed to release easily, stuck to the roe so badly that a lot of the product was wasted. I paid a premium for this Boutargue based on my first purchase. However, this batch was a complete waste. So disappointed.

Weight does not match the description
The listing stated 7 oz, but the product arrived labeled as 160 grams, which is only about 5.64 oz. π The product is very tasty, but itβs disappointing that the seller is misleading about the weight, which directly affects the price.

Really nice tasting
A really nice tasting bottarga. One of the best I've had. It's fine grained and tastes very good. Subtle aromatic and sublime texture. It cuts solid and stays firm and, (so important), it's easy to peel the coating. We served it for New Year's Eve with champagne (a nice Bollinger). Awesome! Just wanted to share this. So many people haven't heard about it and it's so good!

Best I've ever had
This is the best, FRESHEST boutargue I've ever had. Been eating the stuff for at least 30 years and have never seen such a fresh product. Does not need ANYTHING with it. Can just slice very thinly and eat as an appetizer with some Boukha or some vodka.
