If you and your child enjoyed She Persisted by Chelsea Clinton, Little Dreamers , Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls or Girls Think of Everything , you will love reading Women Who Dared . Review: Loved each of the stories! Great for kids! - I loved the images, itโs great for kids and for everyone who wants to learn about amazing women! Review: Inspiring book for girls of all ages. - Bought this for my niece but loved reading it myself. Even my son enjoyed reading it before we gave it away. Cool mix of stories of courageous women. Loved it. I had read how people were upset with one story about a women helping the confederate army and I had planned on cutting that story out. But when I read it I realized At the end of that particular story they said how she realized the wrong she had done and ended up fighting for equal rights later in life.

Good book for daughter
I bought this for my daughter to learn about strong women. She loves reading the stories of each historical figure and this prompts her to further research these characters to learn more about them.

Great Book for Empowering Girls
Bought this book for my Daughter and read some of the stories with her. Just a great overall book for empowering little girls and women alike. In my opinion this book is great in helping to build and shape a foundation for success. My only complaint if any is that each of the stories should of been expanded a bit more rather then a single page.

Awesome children's book/teaching tool for girls and boys
Awesome young person's book. It's short and in really short, might take 5-10 minutes to read about a daring woman. It would be a perfect book for grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. to have on hand to read to both girls and boys. Teachers, either in the home setting or public school could read a daring woman's story and since the chapters don't tell all there is to know, but gives you a desire to go look them up and find out more it could lead to further research and stories written by the student about that daring woman. Another of my favorite things about this book is Linda Skeers doesn't just have a certain age, type or daring woman but she has stories from the 18th century to the 21st century. There are young women and Senior Citizen women, married women, single women, single mom women. Performers, daredevils, flyers, astronauts, scientists, explorers in this book. They are from all over this great earth. My favorite section was about Rebels. Will be buying several more for friends with boys.

Inspirational
My 8-9 year old fell in love with this for homeschool. We use it as a read outlouds for history supplement, one page per day. I could not say enough positive things about this book. Her work ethics has improved, along with a more of a can do attitude. I do credit a lot of that to inspirational reading. Thank you for such wonderful reading material and for history. 10 stars.

Perfect for women's History month!
I got this book for my homeschooled kids and we read one page a day during women's History month. Some of these stories are amazing and there's even some that I've never heard about before! It's opened the door for a ton of conversations spanning multiple topics. Definitely a good purchase!
