Amazing quality plugs
So glad I seen these they sure beat dealing with seed. Really great quality plugs packaged nicely. Super healthy plugs were already trying to spread in the tray. Super fresh and great price for money. Roots were very established. Will report back after they have time to get established.

As Zoysia Goes......These Are Top of The Line.
I have purchased Zoysia plugs several times over the past 20 years or so. I now have a complete back yard of Zoysia, (which I started from scratch - and maintain myself). It was a bit difficult at first, because I have clay and unfavorable ground in general. But the Zoysia I first purchased was from a nursery/seller located in Taneytown MD, (I believe) and it is "top quality" grass. I could not afford to buy a large amount, so I bought two of their pallets. Trimming the plugs by hand, I made holes and stomped them into the clay, trying a number of "plugger" style tools. After years of basically "no special treatment" - the grass took over my back yard and it is beautiful! Even where the "other" grass (weeds included) have not yet been "over-run" by the Zoysia, when May rolls around, the color is seamless, uniform, and matches perfectly. When I had two large Oaks removed and stumps ground in the front yard, I used some Zoysia seed (very expensive) to fill in the large new growth areas. After the areas of seed fully germinated, I decided to try this product (ZOYSIA PLUG TRAY) to fill in the bare spots to speed up the process. When the order arrived I was very pleasantly surprised. The plugs are totally healthy and lush. They come nicely separated and are thriving in their individual tray "cups". They slide right out with a tug and retain their cup shape for easy planting. I used a planting auger on a cordless drill to make the holes, popped them in, stepped on them to seat them and watered the area per the directions. They never skipped a beat! They have ALL maintained their rich color and I can no longer determine the plugs from the rest of the filled areas. I am very satisfied with these and I believe that if you just follow the directions, or research typical Zoysia planting and maintenance requirements, anyone can have the same beautiful results. I recommend this seller and their product.

They are doing pretty good
At first look they looked stressed with some blades turning brown but I realize they have been in a box for two or three days and in hot trailers. I put them in the ground a day after I received them. They are still alive and two or three do have runners coming off them. I followed the instructions as well as I could with them and I’m hoping for the best. I do plan on ordering more this weekend. Bobby

Beautiful plugs
First I received my order three days earlier than expected. Second I am supper impressed by how professional my little zoysia grass plugs looked and how green they are. I have ordered zoysia from other retailers throughout the years and this by far is 100% the best. Now is just wait and see how well they will do. I read reviews about how the zoysia looked yellow, well if you really know zoysia you know that when zoysia is dormant it does turn yellow. Zoysia in April it is still dormant, so Yes it is going to be yellow. Don’t let that deter you from getting yourself some zoysia. I wish I had taken pictures before I planted them so I can post here. It was super easy to plant, they looked super healthy and I am buying some more. My only complaint is that zoysia takes forever to spread, but this has nothing to do with the vendor but just nature. Please buy some zoysia and see how happy you are going to be… I might come back here and update with pictures.

These Zoysia Plugs Are A Crapshoot!
The good news is that I placed an order for one tray of these Zoysia Plugs a few weeks ago. The grass arrived very green and healthy. I planted the plugs, and they are all doing great so far. The grass is still nice and green, and it is slowly starting to grow. Now the bad news. I thought since the first order of plugs went so well that the second order would also. Not even close. The most recent order I placed was terrible. The grass plugs arrived all wet, slimy and dark green looking. They looked and smelled like rotten, wilted lettuce. I gave the plugs a lilttle water, and put them in the sun for a couple of days (just like I did with the first order of plugs that are doing well). The grass has since turned brown and died. I am not going to waste my time planting a tray of dead grass plugs just to see if they "might" survive. I am in the process of requesting a new tray of plugs from the seller. We will just have to see how that goes. In the meantime I am enjoying the grass that has been planted already. As for the dead grass, not so much. I am giving these Zoysia Grass Plugs 3 stars because the first order I placed was 5 stars, and the second order would be 0 stars if I could give it that rating. You can go ahead and order these Zoysia Grass Plugs at your own risk, because you never know what you will receive. This is really nice grass when you DO receive "live" plugs.

Great quality plants.
Very healthy looking plants. I planted them the next day after receiving them. I have kept them watered and so far almost every plant looks great.

Paid for Zoysia, that is sickly looking mix of zoysia and Bermuda grass!
Paid for Zoysia, got 20%+ Bermuda grass mixed in! (I used PlantAI to determine which were zoysia and which weren’t but you can see it without AI) Went back and forth with customer service, including taking pictures for 7 -8 straight days after I was told to give it intense sun and water. I really don’t understand how intense sun and water can genetically change Bermuda grass into Zoysia. Then I see that my complaint was closed. I went to re-open it, and then realized that for a $50 purchase they had me jumping through hoops wasting my valuable time! Beware,DO NOT BUY Here are close ups of my “Zoysia”! Then they tell me that they have a Bermuda grass farm several miles away Iso there no way it could cross contaminate the zoysia!! Btw the plugs I received were no where near the vibrant and healthy Zoysia that their picture portrays!!
