This is an absolutely great product especially for the price! I’m a makeup lover/collector and skin care. I have a large vanity all set up very nicely and a dresser with drawers full of products because everything obviously won’t fit on my vanity top. I have a big regular mirror that’s the full length of my vanity, then a medium large mirror with big LED bulbs around the edges with 2 types of lighting options with adjustable brightness settings. It goes from dim to extremely bright but it isn’t a magnifying mirror. So sitting in my chair and trying to to tweeze my brows or even do eyeliner can be a bit challenging. I’d bought a cheap suction magnifying mirror with lights before but I didn't like the space it took up on my mirror and it blocked at least one bulb no matter what position I put it and it didn’t have a “bar”? Lol so it was still difficult to try and get close enough to use it. I ended up giving it to my parents. This mirror however has very bright lights on it’s own and in conjunction with my other mirror it’s actually too bright which is really a nice problem to have when it comes to lighted mirrors. Normally the problem is they’re not bright enough which can make the mirror virtually useless. This mirror however is absolutely perfect! I purchased the square 10x’s magnification version and even just aesthetically it’s very pleasing to the eye and matches my square vanity mirror perfectly. Before I suctioned it to my big regular background mirror I cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol and then wet a cotton pad with water and dampened the suction. Pressing firmly I twisted the base and locked it into place. I slowly started to let it support its own weight and then pulled on the suction a bit to make sure the suction was strong and boy is it!! The mirror is firmly in place and immediately I was very impressed. Now like all suction held products it’s not a install once and last forever thing. It’s going to start to lose it’s suction after a while. So about every 2-3 weeks I’ll need to repeat the installation process again to keep the mirror from falling and breaking itself and worse my other much more expensive mirror or makeup products. From reading a lot of the negative reviews on here it seems to me that some people thought that once they installed the mirror with the suction then it was supposed to keep the mirror in place permanently. And of course when that wasn’t the case and the mirror inevitably fell they blamed the mirror and the company. But a suction installation isn’t the same as installing something with a screw or a nail. Suction relies on forcing out all of the air and dampness to seal the suction. But obviously overtime the dampness starts to dry up letting air in and the suction fails and whatever it’s holding falls. This mirror has a very nice lock at the base which is wonderful! It makes the suction much stronger and more sturdy plus it prolongs the time between reinstalling but it in no way makes this a one time permanent installation. Simply put if you don’t reinstall this mirror every 1-3 weeks it’s going to fall guaranteed. Under these circumstances it’s not the product or companies fault it’s actually user error. I will say that the company does need to make this fact much more clear in their instructions though because this is a very important thing their customers need to know. If someone isn’t aware of how suction works or they’re under the impression that the lock means permanent then that is the company’s fault for not making sure that all their customers are very aware of that crucial information. But overall this is a great mirror and for the price you can’t beat it. I’d recommend it to anyone.

I love this mirror. It is better than I expected. The suction works great on glass so far. I have only had for a few days, but I am very satisfied with it. The light works great. The magnification is perfect for me. The flexible arm works well. The mirror does drop down due to the weight but this was not a problem for me. I simply raised the base up higher and let the mirror drop down to me. This actually works out well because it is now out of my way. Hope I still love this thing months from now but so far it's wonderful!

This mirror is nice and very bright. I did overestimate the magnification. It's so strong that I can't use it to see my entire face. The suction cup did not want to stick to my mirror for very long but works well on my counter.

I was leery of the mirror's ability to stay affixed after reading many of the reviews, but then I thought, so many people do not follow instructions...I have several gadgets that depend upon suction cups and do not experience problems...The surface MUST be clean and smooth...Additionally, the vacuum decreases progressively over time due to seepage, so one should expect it to eventually disconnect...I have only had my mirror for about 2 weeks, but I do not intend to leave it permanently affixed...I remove it after shaving and re affix it with each shave...If that is a pain, consider that in this way you will not have to worry that it will break by falling, and that the suction design is pretty much standard across brands and consider the convenience of being able to see so clearly...And that you will!..My bathroom lighting is very good so I do not have to rely upon the mirror's lighting, but when I do it is wonderful...Bright, diffuse and even...I am highly satisfied with my mirror.

It is perfect for your house or hotel ... A bit bulky to travel , but suction last for months ... light is good ... zoom is great !

The goose neck is not strong enough to hold up the mirror. The suction cup secures great that’s why I gave it any stars at all. Mirror is nice and lights up well but as for looking in it while it’s mounded to my bathroom mirror? Well I would have to mount it up at the top because the metal goose neck isn’t strong enough to hold it in place so it drops to a downward position.

Lighted mirror works well however, when I tried to adjust the gooseneck to a higher level, it started falling downward so I couldn't use it comfortably for my height level.

I use a wall mounted makeup mirror at home. It was taking me forever to put on my makeup anytime I was away from home using a hand held magnification mirror. This is the perfect travel solution. It's a little smaller than I like, but that's okay. Once attached to the bathroom mirror it steady and it feels secure. When I'm done with it, I remove it from the suction and leave it on the counter. This is not made to be used as an everyday item and not made to leave attached by the suction cup for extended periods. Perfect for travel

Love everything about it. The size (square shaped) and the magnification of it (10x) and the ability of the LED light. Great for traveling anywhere, freinds’, hotel.... just stick it anwhere and Voila!!

Bought this before Xmas. I have polished porcelain wall tiles. The suction pad stuck really well to them and has not fallen off in the last 4 months. Mirror gets used daily.

Good quality. Haven't fully tested the suction part yet.
