Great little binoculars.Even in low visibility.Really impressed and everyone who I tried it.

Great Binoculars, for short/ mid distances.Quality materials used.

Comfortable to use but not quite as small as I hoped.Critical point, vision is good, massively better than a £1-200 pair of eg cannon. I have a pair of compact Leica that are far better but were probably at least twice the price and they don’t come close to the Zeiss Victory’s (but nothing would).They are great as a small pair to carry for the just in case, easy to focus, I think shower proof, crisp vision and easy to track bird flight. Fits in the hand well and comfortable on the eye.

High quality light binoculars, perfect for hiking, or just out walking in the countryside.

Very compact and efficient

These are excellent binoculars in every way. I still prefer my Leica ones over all others, but then they are three times the price of these.

For the significant amount of money paid, would have hoped for better... a lot better. Wish I had not bothered... fell for the hype.I really loved those winged eyecups.. how awesome. Turns out they freely rotate with a mind of their own. One moment they are in the perfect position... next use, the rubber wing is poking me in the corner of my eye...After my first long walk, one of the winged eye cups is missing. Just fell off somewhere... Rugged, you say...To get a replacement eye cup, I have to order from Steiner's American partner... $50 with postage... for a rubber eyecup... which turned out was not an original part at all. Clipped on, fell off... At least I received a full refund.Steiner in Germany were absolutely useless. "just send them back to Amazon..." long after the return window is closed.All I want is one rubber eye-cup... that fits... and stays on.. at least pretends to be rugged and fit for purpose for a few months... but no. They couldn't even spell my name correctly.Even worse, while walking, I met someone with a pair of £300 Nikon binoculars... We swapped... the Nikons were far clearer and sharper.What a complete waste of money Steiners have turned out to be. I now have some winged eye cups from the other side of the world, for a fraction of the price, held on with duct tape. For the older UK readers, I am now the bird watching equivalent of Len Fairclough from Coronation St. At least they do not now fall off.I am obviously very unhappy with the quality of both company and product, however, if you are thinking of spending a lot of money (though you can easily spend more) do read the German reviews on Amazon via translate. Astute, detailed and technical. It was obvious there with regards to Steiner's way over rated quality.By all means, follow me down the road to disappointment, but don't say you were not warned.

No recuerdo una decepción igual en un producto y marca como en el caso que nos ocupa. Conozco a Steiner desde los años 80, cuando recabaron en España. Siempre he considerado que al ser una marca de óptica alemana, dedicada desde hace décadas exclusivamente a la fabricación de prismáticos, sus binoculares eran de una calidad excepcional, superados exclusivamente por marcas premium alemanas y austriacas, cuyos productos doblan o triplican en precio a los Steiner.En primer lugar, estos prismáticos no están fabricados en Alemania. Y ciertamente ni en la caja, ni en los prismáticos se hace referencia a ello, ni a lo contrario… Esta falta de información sobre el "Made in" implica claramente que tengo razón en mi suposición.Lo anterior no sería un problema, ya que productos de marcas de óptica americanas, como Vortex, fabrican sus productos en China, y los resultados son sobresalientes. Curiosamente en los prismáticos marca Vortex, si reza : "Made in China".Sin embargo los Steiner Wildlife 10,5X28 son una basura. Las dos estrellas se deben a detalles de acabado exterior, a que la correa es de neopreno y a que son muy, muy bonitos.Desgraciadamente cuando miras a través de ellos, la calidad óptica es muy inferior a unos económicos Celestron 10x26, de prisma de techo, que llevan conmigo unos treinta años.Después de mi decepción he revisado otras reseñas sobre este modelo/producto concreto y he encontrado que no hay ninguna que supere las tres estrellas. Ahora bien, cuando buscas en las reseñas más antiguas, encuentras que la mayoría de los compradores de la primera versión de estos wildlife 10,5X28, puntúan masivamente con cinco estrellas a los prismáticos originales, no bajando ninguna valoración de cuatro.Por supuesto los devuelvo.El precio en la web oficial de Steiner de este juguete es de 399€., así que no puedo describir aquí la ilusión con que los pedí a Amazon cuando los puso en oferta. Termino pues esta reseña como la empecé: "No recuerdo una decepción igual en un producto…"

Das STEINER Fernglas Wildlife 10,5x28 wird ein einem schicken bunten versiegelten Karton geliefert. In dem Karton befindet sich das Fernglas, eine Umhänge Schaufe, ein Reinigungstuch für die Linsen sowie eine Anleitung due auch die deutsche Sprache enthält. Auf dem Fernglas befindet sich noch eine Schutzkappe auf den Linsen, durch die man später schaut.Die Verarbeitung des Fernglases ist extrem gut. Der Körper des Fernglases ist gummiert, und wirklich sehr griffig. Die Dioptrien Einstellung ist leichtgängig. Ebenso ist die Schraube zum einstellen der Schraube leichtgängig. Die breite des Fernglases ist auch gut veränderbar. sie ist aber stramm genug, dass sie während der Benutzung sich nicht ändert.Die optische Qualität des Fernglases ist wirklich gut. Ich habe es getestet, und in der Ferne Bäume fokussiert. Hinter diesen Bäumen warne weitere Bäume die komplett vermistelt (also mit Misteln voll waren). Das war mir vorher nicht klar. In der zweiten Hälfte des Jahres habe ich nämlich vor mit diesem Jahr damit Elefanten, Wasserbüffel, und andere Tiere Afrikas zu beobachten.Dieses Fernglas ist in den Abmessungen sehr kompakt, und auch nicht zu schwer. Es ist daher perfekt auch für weitere Reisen, da es im Gepäck nicht zu schwer ist, oder Platz weg nimmt.Fazit:Das Fernglas ist sicher nicht billig, aber preiswert (Betonung auf Preis-Wert). Wenn man ein kompaktes hochwertiges Fernglas sucht, ist man mit diesem Fernglas gut bedient. Steiner gibt übrigens 30 Jahre Garantie. Ich gebe 5 Sterne.

Ich habe das Wildlife 10,5x28 bestellt, nachdem ich das Wildlife 10x26 ausprobiert habe. Verwendungszweck: 3D-Bogenschießen. Klein, handlich, kompakt, regenfest und 10x-Vergrößerung waren die für mich relevanten Merkmale.Das Fernglas erfüllt alle Erwartungen. Man kann es problemlos mitführen und es ist gerade klein genug, damit es nicht stört. 10x kann man gerade so noch frei in der Hand halten.Ich habe keine Vergleichsmöglichkeiten mit anderen Ferngläsern. Aber Schärfe, Kontrast genügen mir vollauf und ich würde das mit "gut" bis "sehr gut" bewerten..
