- DO NOT use these fittings for plumbing projects. The “Slip T” PVC fittings, also know as a TL or pass through tees, are commonly used in building PVC structures where you don’t want to compromise the strength of the pipe by cutting it. With no stops in the top of the Slip T, you can simply slide it onto the pipe where you want it. 1" Fittings fit on 1" Schedule 40 PVC or Furniture Grade PVC. Please check out our PVC Sizing Guide (Specification Sheet) to make sure that you order the correct size PVC Fittings. PVC is NOT measured by the outside diameter, and doing so will result in receiving fittings that are too big for your pipe.
