Imagine Creamy Soup, Portobello Mushroom, 32 oz.

Update: this worked great for Christmas dinner. While I dislike mushrooms, this tasted amazing with the green beans. There was so much seasoning that the flavor was just incredible. No chunks or pieces of mushrooms (thankfully). Very highly recommended No seriously, I’m not a fan of mushrooms. However, I really would love green bean casserole for Christmas and we need this mushroom soup to add. I chose this brand, since it does not have dairy or gluten. I like all the seasoning in this, so I can assume it will taste fine-with the green beans, bacon and French onions lol. I will update this review after Christmas to reflect the actual taste test. Wish me luck. 😂

I mix a little onion better than bouillon, or a little wine. Throw some Broccoli, or onions or both in or whatever I have. Cheese and pumpernickel croutons on top is good too. So while this soup is eatable out of the carton, it is easy to do a fast fix up and it will taste a lot better.

The flavor was excellent. I took some extra time to enhance it. I sauteed a small amount of chopped garlic in a couple T of ghee, then added 1/4 of a large chopped onion and let it cook soft for a good length of time. Then added a chopped large portobello mushroom and half a chopped red pepper to the onion and let that cook for a while as well. When they seemed cooked enough, I poured in the whole carton of soup and let it heat and meld flavors. Two good sized servings and two small containers in the freezer for later. Very pleased.

My family loved this in a green bean casserole. I have a sensitive stomach. It’s too rich for me. Good texture and quality.Good value. I like this company.

I really enjoyed this product. On a cold day, I had soup ready to just warm up and eat with some chips or some salad greens on the top. I got a couple of bowls out of the box.So it was worth the price. Plus its vegan.....no dairy

This is tasty and easy to use, especially if you have just had dental work and would like something warm and comforting

The soup is contained in an easy to store cardboard container that makes pouring quite easy. As with similar packaging, it does not require any refrigeration until the seal is broken. It has a screw-on top that allows for easy resealing of the package and its rectangular shape makes it easy to stand and store in one's refrigerator. The soup is an excellent quality. It is relatively thick and creamy (without the use of butter, cream or milk) and has a deep mushroom color and flavor. We often use it as an ingredient in our cooking but also serve it by itself sometimes along with some croutons for additional texture.
