Nice chair, but wasn't exactly what I thought it would be.
First of all, I really like this chair as far as the way it is constructed and the size. I have three of them at a kitchen seating counter and the size is just perfect - not too big, and comfortable for as compact as it is. It takes a bit assembling it, but by the time I got to the 3rd chair, I was a pro. When sitting on the chair, you must be careful to keep yours and your children's fingers (and pet paws!) out from between the two wood rings just below the padded seat! The plastic scratch protector feet are useless - pull them off and purchase some better ones and install them instead - that's what I did. The wood is NOT even close to looking like oak. It is more of a cherry color. As long as you realize that, you'll be happy. Make sure to tighten all of the fasteners really REALLY well to prevent it from being wobbly. If you do that, it's a really sturdy little chair. When you think they are tight enough, tighten a little more.

The ones that did not break on first use are really nice.
I love these stools, needing only three but buying FIVE. I bought five because two broke almost upon first use! A friend sat on one and we heard a CRACK and the wood in the back split. Sent that one back and the next time this friend was over he sat on another one and CRACK - the wood under the seat split. We were disheartened and sent back another one. The replacements arrived promptly and we have not had any more problems with the three we have. Have to admit to being a bit gun shy with them and perhaps I sit on them a bit more gently than I might otherwise. We love the styling, the wood finish and the big seat but be wary of the cracking problem. BTW, my friend is not that big or heavy.

Very nice, sturdy stools.
Only downside is color is a bit too orange.

Step - order1,2,4, then 3
Stools were as expected with the exception of having a broken place in the back. Apparently, delivery person's fault, as they mentioned it upon delivery. Mendable, so will not be returning. My review pertains to the assembly. You should put the back of the chair on the padded stool prior to attaching stool to legs. And, do yourself a favor and use a straight hex tool. Otherwise, have owned 4 other chairs just like these for 4 years. Very durable and still look great.

Looks great!
Very easy to assemble and takes just about 30 mins to assemble one chair. We got two and use it regularly. One minor drawback is if while sitting on it if you lean back pushing the table or countertop in front of you, it can topple back. We got a scare a couple of times with our toddler trying to get down and to make space between the chair and countertop, he leaned back pushing the countertop in front and the chair almost toppled but, he managed to recover. Overall though, it's a very beautiful and comfortable chair.

As pictured. Would buy again.
We bought three of these. One part arrived damaged. I contacted Amazon and they suggested I contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer requested copies of our invoice, pictures of the chairs, the damaged part, and then sent us the part. As pictured. I think we paid $70-80/chair so for the price they are nice. If you put a heavy handbag on a corner of the chair, it will tip over (had this happen). The basketweave pattern is nice to accent our basket weave backsplash tile

Good chair, great customer support
I ordered 3 chairs. Unfortunately, 2 of them had cracks in one or two of the slats that are part of the backrest. I contacted Boraam by phone. Boraam's CSR, Marie, was polite and responsive to my situation and I soon received the replacement backrests.I wasn't thrilled using an Allen wrench to attach the bolts needed to assemble the chairs because some of them are difficult to see or reach so it was difficult to line up the wrench with some of the bolt heads. Other than the assembly, however, I'm very happy with the chairs. They are handsome and very sturdy and I was especially impressed with Boraam's customer service and their willingness to stand behind their product.

Best stools for the price!
I tried to order these from the company, but they were so expensive and had to pay shipping. Amazon price and free delivery was amazing. They were easy to put together, just read the instructions! They are heady/sturdy and look amazing
