This product arrived in good condition. According to some reviews this book was only OK. Well, I disagree with those people. This book simplifies the chords and makes it easy to start playing the songs soon upon arrival of the book. An excellent choice to learn some John Denver songs.

I am a beginner to guitar although I am 50 years old. I grew up loving John Denver's music, and having this book helps bring it back to me. I especially like that the chords (fingering positions) are shown on the page with the music. Eventually I won't need them, but for today I do. I recommend this book for any beginner who loves Take me home Country Roads, Leavin' on a Jet Plane, Calypso, etc.

This volume has some of his better old and some great others that I haven't heard. The music is easy to follow and works for a beginner

I enjoy this book. Some of my favorite songs are John Denver's and playing "Leaving on a Jet Plane," is simply fun. Listen to the songs and you'll find that figuring out the beat/strum won't be hard. "Country Roads" is here too and not hard to play. The neighbors may think you're getting carried away, but it's fun.

This book is great for beginner, intermediate or advanced guitar players. The sheet music shows the chords with finger placement. I had to buy the book to get the list of songs in it, so I am providing it here for others to see. These are most of John Denver's greatest hits, only a few are missing. Gift for my son, he loves it!

THis book is exactly what I hoped it was. I don't have the reach for some of the more complex chords that the pros use. I simply wanted a book that would help me restart my hobby guitar paling . This book has it all. No complicated chords, sheet music. It can be used with both piano and Guitar. which helps with the vocals.

I just started to learn the guitar for fun and I am retired. After learning some basics found that I would learn better if I played songs. This is a great book. Most of the cords are the same and I am enjoying it. If I could only sing! Oh well. I recommend it if you like his music as I do.

Alot of good John Denver songs and the print is large enough for easy reading compared to some music bookes, well worth the money

I took a chance on this one, I have purchased similar books before only to find I had to stretch my playing ability before I could enjoy the music. Not so with this one. The songs are great, but the best feature of this book is that it is all open chords. A beginner wouldn’t take very long to start seeing some welcome progress. An intermediate guitarist could have results straight away. Overall, a great book.

Easy to read

I'm in the early days of self learning to play, but find some of the songs quite easy to play. I'm very pleased with it.
