I ordered this brooch for a friend who turned 85 years old. The theme of her birthday bash was swans so this brooch was perfect. I purchased it because of the stellar reviews and the pin did not disappoint. I was looking forward to giving my gift to my friend in the box that was provided (from the photos the box and bow looked great), but when it arrived the box was really dinged up - scratched and dented. I had to go out and purchase separate gift wrap because the box just made it all look used. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with the brooch. It sparkles and shines just like my sweet friend.
