Unicorn Food: Rainbow Treats and Colorful Creations to Enjoy and Admire (Whimsical Treats)

Unicorn Food by Cayla Gallagher is one of my favorite cookbooks I own. The cover has glittery texture on the frosting as well as on the title, I like how it's not on the whole cover, but gives just enough to capture my eyes. Each recipe patterns a pastel color in the order of: green, pink, yellow, blue. Which follows the theme of rainbow. The colors are light enough so I'm not focused more on the background than the recipes. Each recipe has it's own photo, this is one of the features I love the most, I love when cookbooks have a photo of what the cook or baker has in mind. Miss Gallagher mentioned that each of the recipes are written so they can be changed to what the reader has in mind to make. I'm excited to test out recipes such as vanilla confetti cake, rainbow confetti cookies, candy heart coconut dumplings, rainbow bubble punch, unicorn parfaits, rainbow cinnamon rolls, and rainbow chocolate chips.There wasn't anything that I didn't dislike about this book.

This book is SOOOOOOOO freaking cute!!!! First off...... THE COVER HAS GLITTER!!!!! They say dont judge a book by its cover but HOW CAN I NOT?!?!?!I love how there are pictures to every recipe and the pages are just beautifully colorful.My first project will be the treat that's on the cover and I cant wait to make it.Personally I highly recommend this book if you like simple and freakishly adorable stuff to make Haha

This is a really fun and imaginative cookbook! The ideas are very unique and give a lot of great baking inspiration. I made the blooming peach rose cheesecake recipe and it was light and absolutely delicious!!

Gave this book to my daughter for her 8th birthday and you would have thought the heavens opened up and dropped the book down for her. Every recipe is rainbow or unicorn themed and most of them are simple enough that she can attempt them on her own with some guidance. Obviously, she'll be skipping the cocktails, but the confections are just right for my little fairytale foodie.

My 10-year-old granddaughter loves to bake. This has become her favorite book. Wonderful ideas, great creations, easy directions, excellent photos.

What not to love about a bright colorful book with glitter on the cover. Many clever ideas I plan to incorporate in my grandaughters life.

It was a gift for a friend, She loved it! Her face lit up like a kid in a candy store because of all the colorful pictures and cool recipes that are in this book. I would say it's a cookbook for an adult that wants a part of childhood back.
