Bringing back memories
These are my first pair of new boots since I got out back in 2013. These feel SUPER comfortable, compared to my old ones, laces up real smooth and size (I’m usually a 9.5/10 depending on shoe brand) was pretty spot on. Over all, VERY happy with them. Looking to get good use out of them.

The better boot
Lasted 3 years 22 to 25 heavy use hiking full gear out of of service and heavy use farming has been a really good boot but at 3 years has split at soles to the sock but worked running full gear the downside is the dollar value when I entered the corps the rat boots was IN this is the better alt for the value take shoe size and is close to fit but takes a break in time running / walking feels great steel toe adds to that overall and steel feels like it doesn't weigh much at all for everyday or work wear it functions as a go to boot to wear light weightish but still steel toe helps with every day tasks on the farm.

Great American made product
I was looking for a new pair of boots for work and decided to look into combat boots again because of all the new products out in the last ten years and because there are a lot more choices that are made in America now. I read all of the reviews I could find about this boot and similar styles from belleville and ordered them a half size smaller than what I normally wear. I'm glad I did as the fit is perfect. These boots are very comfortable and took no break in time. They seem to be very well built and I think they will last a long time. I'm a sheet metal worker who works in a shop an I'm walking around on concrete and metal pieces all day an am always using my boots to move or support large pieces of metal for assembly. The only problem I've had with these boots is the factory insole that I had to replace as soon as I tried the boots on. The insole made the boots fit awkwardly and when I first tried them on I thought there was something wrong with the left boot as it felt smaller than the right. I remembered another review about these boots about the insoles and as soon as I replaced them the boots fit perfectly.I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for high quality made in America boots. You'll be hard pressed to find American made boots of this quality at a better price.

excellent boots & seller, soles only lasts 6 months
The seller, OutdoorEquipped, shipped the boots quickly, and has excellent customer service.I wear a size 9.5, I ordered an 8.5EE. The boots fit perfectly with no heel rubbing or top-of-foot tightness (which I experienced while breaking in my last pair of bellevilles).Great boots, Belleville are the only boots I will buy.My last pair of Bellevilles fit well, held up perfectly over the summer, but the vibram sole cracked during the winter. You can use these boots during winters, but I'd suggest not; each month of snow and ice probably takes a year off its life. Also, the vibram sole freezes, becomes very hard and brittle, and loses grippiness on ice. Note that this is not at all a problem with the boot, just the environment they're not intended for. Come Fall I will buy a pair of Bellevilles that is intended for use in cold weather.Update 10/29/2016: the sole of the left boot has a crack anterior to the arch. This is disappointing, these boots have not yet seen ice and the soles have already displayed brittleness. Once the weather turns cold the soles will almost certainly crack apart. I will have to buy new boots quickly before winter weather begins. Still gonna keep the 5 stars, as other than the 6-month life these are excellent boots. Just far more expensive than equivalently priced boots that last more than one year. I don't feel like taking the risk on another pair of bellevilles this winter, though.

Best Boots I Have Ever Owned!
These are the best boots I have ever owned. I read other reviews which told me to get a smaller size because they run a little big and I'm glad I did because they fit perfect. I usually wear a size 11 so I ordered a size 10.5. Other reviews said they are very heavy and in my opinion they are but you get use to them after a day or so plus it is a good work out lol. These are my every day boots now. I have owned them for about 3 weeks and after the first week people were already saying they look like they have been in combat which brings me to my next point, they break in very easily. For me they were broken in within a couple of days. So far I have ran through mud, snow, ice, dirt, mulch, water, ect and they have yet to disappoint me. I have felt no leaks or anything. I have washed them few times and after letting them sit and dry they do age quickly but I believe they will last a long while and if they only last a year I will be happy because I can I always order another pair considering they are very inexpensive compared to Danner's USMC boots (which are $300+). Which these are a great alternative to the Danner USMC boots because these are also made in the U.S.A.Pros:Combat BootWater ResistantSteel ToeGreat to Run InHeavy Weight Boot (Some may so that's a con but I enjoy it)Breaks in QuicklyGreat PriceMade in the U.S.A.Great for All Climates (Not just Hot Weather)Cons:Ages Quickly (But I think they will last a long while)Warnings:Get a half-size smaller than what you normally wear, because these boots do run big (Example I usually wear a 11 so I ordered a 10.5)

Definitely worth it, though get half a size smaller than normal.
The first thing I want to make clear is that this shoe is definitely bigger than expected. I have to double sock it just to get a decent fit without any wiggle while using them. That being said, these are probably the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I have owned Navy 9 inch boots, utility side-zippered boots (Bates and 5.11 respectively), and these are by far the easiest to get on and off. There are two vents on the inboard side of the boot, near the sole for venting (so these are neither water proof or resistant) which work nicely. The heel is incredibly thick, and my only true complaint is that they scuff strangely easily for a boot made with rough-out leather.A side note, the boots are a couple shades lighter than what is depicted in the product pictures.Pros:Speed tie laces work wellDesign makes it easy to run in, despite steel toeThick solesWhen bloused look real goodCons:One of the vent's wire mesh covers fell off, so now microscopic particles can get in my bootSizes are a little too bigThe back of the upper isn't as thick or rigid as I thought, and it has slowly started to crumple up.Easily scuffedAll in all, I would definitely purchase this again.

Best boot I’ve worn
Always liked USMC Combat boots perfect for running, hiking, treading water, and once because of the extra space for additional insole saved my foot from being broken and absorbed the shock
