Would this work for a 7" tall cake. My bakery doesn't do a 6" tall cake.

Unfortunately it will not. The maximum height for the cake to fit on the Popping Stand is 6” . If your cake is over 6” tall, it will extend beyond the top of the stand and will cover up the Gift Pod when it pops up.

I am interested in the carrier only. can you tell me the overall size of the carrier, W x H? Thanks

I don't have the "carrier" but the cake stand holds 10" diameter cakes up to 6" tall
