DV Dolce Vita Women's Myste

This boot is absolutely beautiful. The suede is soft and supple and the color is a very rich tan - I'm absolutely in love with the style. However, the sizing of this boot is so off that it's actually laughable. I followed other reviewers advice of ordering up, and initially ordered a size 9 en lieu of my usual 8.5 size. When I say that the size 9 fit me like a size 7 shoe, I'm not over-exaggerating. I was like freagin Cinderella and couldn't even get my foot into the shoe bed. I don't have wide feet, high arches or thick calves (I actually have chicken legs) and I've never once had this issue in my life. I held up my Frye size 8.5 boot to the sole of this DV boot and it was a full INCH shorter in length. Massive fail. So I returned the boot with Amazon Prime's amazing return service (love it!!) and cautiously ordered a size 10 figuring the 9.5 would be close to a size 8? The 10 is slightly too large on my feet, (fits probably like a 9-9.5) but with two padded Dr.Scholl's insets and a padded foot bed and thick Carhartt socks, they work all right (and are super squishy and comfy) so I'm going to keep them. It's worth noting that I have two other pair of DV shoes that are 8.5 and they fit me perfectly. If you're thinking of buying these, I'd advise shopping around a bit before committing and add at least one full shoe size to your normal size when ordering if you do decide to go with these.

I just received the taupe colored boots. The boots appear a bit darker in person but still a really nice color. The boots really have no give or stretch in the calves. The left boot fit perfect but the right boot was slightly too tight and I couldn't pull all the way up. I do work out a lot so my right calf is slightly bigger. I measured my calves and my left calf is exactly 15 inches and my right calf is 15.5. So before you order these boots, measure your calves and if they are bigger than 15 inches, they will not work for you. The boot themselves are gorgeous and comfortable. They are striking but still conservative enough to wear to work.

These boots were great.. minus that the top came up to almost my knee and they were super tight around my calf. I'm 5'3" and I do not by any means have a "widde calf". In fact I would go so far as to say that I have a pretty skinny calf and these boots were still too tight even without anything like tights. Because they were so tight they bunched up and made it super uncomfortable to sit and walk. I had to return them. So upsetting because they were so cute!

About the boots: LOVE THEM. I have been wanting these boots for so long and they did not disappoint! They look and feel like great quality. I was iffy about the height coming up right under the knee, but the unique fit of the top makes them work.About the order: Very, very upset right now because I received two right feet instead of a left and a right. I definitely need to exchange, but it says that my size is no longer available. I was going to wear them this weekend and now I'm VERY upset because I don't even know if I can keep them at all at this point.

Cute boots...pretty comfortable and cute for casual wear. Kind of tight getting off and on but not terrible. I am a true 7 1/2 in most every able and these fit perfect.

I do love these boots. I got them from Amazon warehouse for a fraction of the price. They fit true to size. I'm a 7 and I can wear thick socks with these boots. The suede is very nice and soft. I have small calves (14-15") and these boots do not look gigantic on me...thank god. I often have problems with boots that fit too big around my calves. The heels are stacked heels so I have no problem walking in these. I can probably walk all day in them.

Love these boots so much! The heel height is perfect to wear all day long they're super comfy! I'm 5'6 and are true knee-high boots, I bought the taupe and black suede leather, comes with a slight distressed look to them which is cool, I usually wear a 7.5 but read other reviews and ordered an 8 which fits me perfect with socks, thankful for all the helpful reviews out there :) Amazon had a big sale with an add'l 20% off and super fast free shipping!
