Maybe better for toddlers with wide feet ...
I really, really wanted to love these -- they're super cute, and I spent a lot of time trying to decide on a quality pair of toddler shoes that I was willing to pay for since they def aren't cheap -- but unfortunately they aren't quite right for my daughter. While they seem very well-made, the tongue underneath the velcro inevitably creeps downward when she's wearing them and ends up all scrunched up like an accordion, no matter how tightly (or loosely) I attach the velcro straps. I wouldn't care looks-wise, but I think it's uncomfortable bc the 'ridges' in the tongue press into the tops of her feet (and my 19-mo will often refuse to put these on and will point urgently to her other pair of sneakers instead). I DO think maybe it's because she doesn't have very wide/fat feet -- if her feet were "puffier" (... to be scientific) then the tongue might stay up by itself. Bummed!

Get these shoes for your little!
Once my daughter outgrew all of the StrideRite soft-flexible-soled shoes, we’ve purchased this brand. This particular shoe we have washed in the washing machine at least 5 times and they’re still in great condition! These probably wouldn’t be great for a younger, unsteady kiddo, because the soles are stiff and very supportive for runners/jumpers/active-players. They’re less expensive here than at Nordstrom!

we bought these in two sizes! great for inside and outside play!
These were the first "outdoor" shoes my kiddo wore when she started walking. She liked them so much we purchased the same shoe in the next size up when it was time to size up. The Velcro is strong, but my kiddo doesn't mess with it too much, so it is not completely battle tested. The white rubber scuffs almost immediately, but a Magic Eraser gets them looking new. I will say our second pair has held up better than our first pair, but I think it is because my kiddo was still doing a LOT of crawling with the first pair and so the fabric got a little worn with the crawling. Even with the crawling, they lasted through daily wear (inside and outside play) until we sized up.

Great for round little feet!
My daughter has just begun to walk (12 months). The size 4 was a great fit. She is able to walk around in them very well, doesn’t seem to inhibit her ability to move. She is a larger baby with very round feet and these shoes were a perfect fit for her. Will be repurchasing in bigger sizes. These particular pair have a nice sheen to them to make them even more adorable!

Good quality
We really liked these shoes. I have a very hard time finding shoes that are wide enough for mu daughter. She is a size 7 in length but we ussually have to buy 9 or larger to fit her width. We got these in a size 8. They are slightly snug width wise but fit so much bettet than any of her other shoes and they have great support. They are holding up well as she has worn them everyday for almost a month now.

Flat soles make my young toddler trip
I know See Kai Run is a popular brand but I think the shoe design is less than ideal for young toddlers. The flat, somewhat stiff soles made my 20 month old toddler trip repeatedly. She's been walking since 14 months and does great in Stride Rite Soft Motion shoes. Returned these and got another pair of Stride Rites instead.

Cute and Comfortable
I really like the See Kai Run sneakers for young toddlers. My 1.5 year old seems to like them as well, and I like how easy they are to put on with the velcro. This is the 3rd paid I've purchased so, I definitely recommend!

Broke after 1.5 months
We bought these in July, but didn't wear them until school started in mid-august. We homeschool, so these were only used for trips out of the house, not all day. It's late September now and the sole is completely torn off. I might pick up some glue and see if we can get a bit more use out of them, but you can get something better for your money.
