LOVE IT !!!!
I try to be health conscious, and am impressed by this great, unrefined saturated oil- its a completely different story compared to refined palm oil- which is not healthy for you. The orange color is from all the vitamin A and it has a good deal of vitamin E, too. But its the taste- the fabulous taste of this red palm oil that makes it such a must have in the pantry. I use it all the time. And when we have guests and I make omelets or scrambled eggs for them, they rave about it. Its great to saute any meat- adds both tremendous flavour as well as a beautiful caramelized color. It tastes so good, that sometimes I just spread it on a cracker. The price is great, too. If I could, I'd give it ten stars. I buy 2 jars every 6 weeks, and I always use it up.

Saucy African Oil!
This is a healthy alternative to other oils. I love the color it go ex to my dishes. It burns very fast on high heat so be mind and aloud of your temperature level. Very good tasting oil when combine with Africa spices. I use in all my Ethiopian recipes. The product last long when it's stored properly.. The size and having it portioned 2 smaller jars helps with storage and usage.

Do not refrigerate .
We visited a family from West Africa and were introduced to the palm oil. Not much taste to this oil when in the bottle, but when it is cooked as a sauce or soup with all the ingredients such as fish, meat, greens, seasonings or according to your liking, this palm oil makes a delicious dish. With vitamins A & E. Cholesterol free, sodium free. There are different brands of palm oils, but we purchased the Nutiva brand because it was reasonable and organic, you can choose the brand that is best for you. Refrigeration not required. When in the bottle or container the oil is solid at the bottom and liquid at the top, buttery and easy to dissolve when ready to cook.

High quality
Red palm oil is amazing for cooking donโt feed into the media lies. It smells good as well and is solid and sometimes separates. It has a red/orange appearance and is very digestible. You can also use it on your skin and hair making it a high value product. Red palm oil is full of carotenoids which are converted into vitamin A which is good for vision and organ function. We fry plantains, potatoes, Akara, and use it for veggie fried rice. We love this and u will too.

It's yellow and maybe plasticy. . .
This palm oil is not red like it seems from the photo - it's yellow / light orange. I read on an African site that the yellow is not as good as the true red. Not sure if that's right though. I've never had red palm oil before and I bought this as an experiment after learning that it's relatively healthy (thinking it was all cheap and in snack food). I tasted some plain to start off. The taste was OK at first (very buttery), but it had a plasticy / stale after taste. Maybe that's just how palm oil tastes. IDK because I've never had it before. Then again, I hate the taste of olive oil and think it tastes plasticy too and never understood why people use it, so it could be just me. Anyway, it wasn't that bad, so I made cookies with it anyway. I used 50% butter and 50% palm oil (I normally use 100% butter). The cookie dough was greasier than normal and the chips got a oil coating on them and they almost fully separated from the dough. It wasn't a problem though after mixing a lot. The dough also didn't stick to the utensils much like it usually does. And it was a thinner consistency. The cookies cooked at the same rate and came out looking the same. However, they did stick to the tray more - strange cause it was the opposite earlier. The taste test: The cookies were still great, but I did notice a subtle difference. Not necessarily plasticy. They just didn't taste quite as "fresh". Don't get me wrong, they were still good. The aftertaste was like as if I had eaten a store bought cookie even though the main taste while eating it was fresh. It made me smile cause now I think I can pick out the subtle palm taste and sense it in a pre-made cookie. Overall, the cookies were still like 90% as good as normal, but would I buy this again? I don't think so. Maybe I'll get used to it and start to like it IDK. I'm definitely going to finish the container though. It's not worth throwing away.

A Flavorful Journey of Sustainability and Quality
One of the most captivating features of this red palm oil is its vibrant and rich color. The beautiful deep red hue is visually appealing and immediately adds a touch of elegance to any dish. Cooking with Nutiva's Red Palm Oil has become a visual treat, as it infuses my creations with a captivating burst of color that entices both the eyes and the taste buds. Speaking of taste, Nutiva's Red Palm Oil delivers a flavor that is nothing short of delightful. It possesses a unique and distinct profile that is rich, buttery, and slightly earthy. This flavor adds depth and complexity to a variety of dishes, whether I'm stir-frying vegetables, sautรฉing meats, or even creating flavorful dressings. The oil's taste is both memorable and versatile, making it a truly remarkable ingredient in my kitchen.

Masive amount for the buck.
This set gives you a lot of palm oil for so little money. I was expecting a small jar, but these are huge! 16 oz is more than I had originally expected for the amount paid. The jar is 6 inches tall and 4 to 5 inches diameter. I need two hands to carry it due to how thick it is.The oil itself is good and doesn't smell bad (has no smell; slight oil scent, but nothing overpowering and won't attract insects). I use this for my orisha practices and offerings to Eshu and Elegua. They seem to enjoy this stuff too. I use Palm oil to coat the statues and provide offerings to the alter. I haven't had any issue or complications with the stuff. I highly recommend this for rituals. I haven't used it for cooking or anything else.

... red palm oil so I wasn't sure I would like it and thought 2 jars would be too much
I had never used red palm oil so I wasn't sure I would like it and thought 2 jars would be too much, but now I love it and I'm glad I took this chance. I have used it instead of butter for scrambled eggs and popcorn, and instead of oil for chicken, it's delicious. After cooked and in moderation (I use around one tablespoon for most recipes) it makes the food tastier but it doesn't have a specific taste that overpowers, it just makes it yummier. It has the same texture as coconut oil, but it doesn't have that interfering taste - and it's said to be as healthy. On a last note, I was careful to buy a brand that is ecologically sourced. We stopped using products with palm oil in my house because of the deforestation in Indonesia and destruction of orangutans (the Indonesian govt even banned DiCaprio for speaking up about this), so I was happy to find out this product had ecologic alternative from other places. I wish all the brands with products that have palm oil in their composition would start being mindful about it, buying from the right sources and letting us know where their oil came from, so I could go back to use their products

Seems like a good product
This is one of the few healthy unrefined oils that I cook with and it seems like a really good quality.
