Been storing 4 gallons of gasoline in it for over 2 months now. No issues! I do wish the container was a bit more sturdy/rigid, but it's fine because it won't be getting moved much.

Every DIY car guy should have this item. Great for transporting used oil to the recycler.

I bought several of these in case of an emergency, to have water on hand for myself and my dogs. They are very sturdy and the perfect size. My only issue is that they do have an odor. I found if you remove the caps for about a week before filling, it dissipates the odor substantially - but not entirely. But for emergency use, knowing they are food grade, I'm okay with the slight odor. After seeing the review about the leaking cap, I did test mine out. Although I knew I would never store them in the position that was shown in the video, I did tilt them to see. First time, no leaking. I then removed the cap to see if there was a rubber seal; there is. I then closed the cap again and tried once more - yes, indeed it did leak! I removed the cap again and put it back on: no leaks. I set it on its side, then tilted it, no leaks. It does seem intermittent. I'm guessing it has more to do with the way you screw the cap on - perhaps the threads have to align just perfect. But, for me, I intend to store them upright - so it won't be an issue. Just super happy to find food grade containers!

This product is true to size very thick and steed for holding left over fish fried freeze. Great value for the cost. Arrival was fast within two days.

Terrific containers for those of use who have larger aquariums especially marine aquariums. Use them for water changes, making/storing rodi or salt water or in my case, collecting natural sea water. Seals are always tight for both the spout and vent (you will have to cut the vent top if you want venting while pouring). These containers will last a very long time but they are plastic and will degrade in prolonged sun or significant heat so store them appropriately, I know this from experience.

Ordered these 5 gallon jugs to store used engine oil . Very sturdy with 4 mil construction and wide enough base that they do not tip over, and no problems with threading cap on jug, just make sure you place cap on jug and back thread to align cap on threaded portion of jug opening, before turning it to tighten, then it will not cross thread to prevent bad alignment with threads on jug opening so you can completely tighten cap,on jug. Seller was great in shipping it speedily and on time in secured packaging. No problems with jugs what so ever. No worries for anyone who would want to order them from this seller.

I bought this for a reservoir on my aquarium and its exactly what I needed. The dimensions were spot on and its super durable.

Great container, but the handle is slightly too small for my normal-sized adult male hand. Still works, but I would have given a 5 star review if the gap under the handle was slightly larger. 4 stars.
