Great part, quick shipping, description could be better.
The part was simple to install and does exactly what it's supposed to do. The red tape even serves to seal the 1/2" pipe threads.The photo and description are incomplete. This is not a problem with the part -- only with the photo and description. The 1/8" threads are 1/8" female NPT tapped in a hole drilled in one of the faces of the hex-shaped part of the piece. If the part that was photographed was turned the right way, it would show that. Also, that information could easily be part of the description, but is not included.

Picture not accurate.
The picture didn't show the 1/8" bleeder hole. I had to plug that up for my application.

Size on package was not the size that was in the box
Check Valve in the package was not the valve label said it was. It seems to me that the wrong part was put in the wrong package. These things happen. Just turned out to be a lot of extra work to still have to return. Not knowing what would come back if I asked to exchange.

It works
Fixed the problem. No more "rapid" leak down from check valve not seating properly.

Great valve
Fantastic--got my mutt compressor up and running with this inexpensive part. Previous owner had muddled a 3/4 inch check valve onto an awkware plumbing stack that required removal of motor and v-compressor head to get the broken check valve.
