Been using it for around 6 months in water and out - it has developed condensation patches on teh inside of lense that obviously effects the pictures and I can do nothing about it.

Bought it for the wife and she says it's great

This is a great little camera which I bought for the macro facility, which is very good. It came by same day delivery from Amazon which is a brilliant option.However, the product came with an operating manual in French, which is irritating because the camera is fairly complicated and instructions in English are required.On calling Amazon, I was advised to contact Ricoh and they would send out a booklet in English, free of charge.So I called Ricoh and got stuck in a queue and after waiting some time eventually followed their recorded advice to email them. I have had zero response nor acknowledgement to my email.I called Ricoh again and this time got through to a person who advised me to call a number for their photographic people. The phone number does not exist.Meantime I have attempted to register the camera warranty on the Ricoh website. I filled in the form and was informed that the serial number of the camera does not exist and neither does my email address.I am very happy with the camera, but am at a loss with these other fundamental aspects of the sale.

Bought this camera on a recommendation but I must say it’s awful, blurry photos, flimsy and cheap looking, do yourself a favour and buy something better

I like this as a good alternative to iphone photo snapping. (I have an SLR and a smaller bridge camera but I wanted something pocket-sized with more features than a phone.)I am disappointed by one thing however. I love the macro and microscope functions but I had not realised until after using the camera that the microscope mode (which turns on the ring LED set for lighting) puts the camera into the XS (Extra small, that is 3MegaPixel) resolution. You can shoot macro with the full size in other camera modes but it's a pity you can't get microscope/ringlight mode to use the best quality.The camera charges with the battery door open which is a bit inconvenient. This is kinda unavoidable though since the waterproofing needs the ports all in that door, it's just awkward where you have to plug the cable. I would have preferred an off-camera charger for this reason and I might invest in after-market one to overcome this issue.

Very easy to use and great photo’s.This replaces a Fuji underwater camera, much clearer photo’s, recently been to Egypt, used it everyday.I haven’t used the Macro yet, but sure it will be great.
