Vinyl Eye Patch with Elastic Band Black Large Semi-Rigid; Reusable

I saw the picture in this ad and thought it looked like the kind of patch you'd buy in packs of 20 to give away at kid's parties, right? But they ARE different.I had an emergency test at the eye clinic, and during that they used one of these. I asked what the brand was because it was the most comfortable patch I'd ever tried. This looks like others at first glance, but this one has a foam lining around the outside of the side the touches your face, so the patch does not touch your eye, does not touch your eyelashes (unless they are kinda longer than average), and the plastic edges don't end up scratching and rubbing your face as much (I have chubby cheeks, so the edge does still touch my face when I smile or chew).The foam, and the non-specific shape (you know how some are definitely for the right or left eye?, this is not one of those), in combination with the loose elastic, makes this fit either eye comfortably. I really thought the loose elastic was going to be too weak to hold the patch on, and break right away besides. However, it is holding up so far, and looks like it is so inexpensive an elastic that it would be cheap to replace. The big surprise is that the looseness is better than tighter elastics and velcro options I've tried. Maybe it is because the foam sort of hold it to your face more? I don't know. But whatever magic it is that makes this so comfortable, I'll take it!CON: Does still cause problems with glasses but, that said, it doesn't move around as much as every other single brand and type I've tried (have a drawer full), and I find I don't need to readjust my glasses as often.

I had an eye injury that took 6 months to recover from. I literally ordered and tried every eye patch available on Amazon (this is not hyperbole). This was, hands-down, my favorite. It had the lowest profile and looked as stylish as an eye patch can while still comfortably covering my eye and completely blocking out light. The foam ring keeps the vinyl away from the eye, so you can still easily open your eye behind it--unlike costume patches. The vinyl and foam were easy to keep clean. My only problem was that the elastic would stretch out after 1-2 weeks of wear and then it would be too loose to be effective. So, I'd cinch it down for a bit with a knot and then eventually replace it. But even with that inconvenience, this was still my favorite option available! Others were uncomfortable, huge and embarrassingly bulky, or fell apart. As an added bonus, the smooth vinyl was a great surface to stick Cricut designs on to entertain my coworkers.

I received the eye patch about 5 minutes ago and couldn't wait to put it on. This thing is awesome. It doesn't touch my eyeball thanks to the added padding they added around the inside of the patch. The other patches that I purchased from Amazon were just not working due to them pressing against my eyeball, causing me to get headaches and affecting my vision in my other eye. I am ordering a few more of these just in case they aren't available when I need another one due to wear and tear. After getting sick with either a viral infection or a variant of covid-19, I believe my blood started sticking or getting thick, which caused clotting in my left eye, so now I only have about 10% of my vision in that eye. It gets annoying not having that eye covered, which is why I needed the eye patch.

I had cataract surgery and needed an eyepatch for sleeping. This eyepatch worked perfect.n

I have to wear an eyepatch while my eye recovers from an injury and this patch is unlike any of the others I've tried. It has foam on the inside that keeps the patch away from my face so I can keep my eye open under it. The patch is smaller in size than the others that take up your whole face which is also a plus. Its great value for the price!

Sorry, but didn't like this product. Found that it pressed too tight against my eye, extremely uncomfortable to me.

A good patch, covers nicely, but the elastic stretches too thin , too quickly.

If you can get relief by holding your cupped hand over your eye, but a conventional fabric eyepatch which lies on top of the eye is uncomfortable or painful, then this is what you want.
