Don't be deceived by the picture they provide. I can't believe nobody has yet pointed out that this is ridiculously small. I hope you can see this demonstrated in the picture. You can't even fit a teaspoon in it so I'm not entirely sure what sort of Bonsai will be going in there. " not the type I was imagining, that's for sure " Also the lights are unimpressive.Maybe I had high expectations for something that costs £50 but I certainly was mislead and disappointed by the quality and size of this device. The media could not be loaded.  Yes it is really tricky to get it to float, but once it does it is fairly steady and it looks great

Lovely design, was hoping for a bigger pot for the price. Annoying when nocked over as the soil goes everywhere. Is the plant pot meant to rotate?

I bought this for a gardener friend's birthday - and she was both surprised and delighted to recieve it. It does take some practice to get it to 'float' but as it floats, it also turns - if you keep it near a window, then any plants grown on it will grow inward due to the equal distribution of the sunlight. It clearly floats and spins - it certainly had quite a few compliments in our office as we set it up. The secret is to turn it on and as you set it up on top of the base pad, you give it a twist and it will stay rather than pushing off/away. It does take practice to master. I will be buying another for myself as a birthday present later on.

It was a lovely, novel idea for a present. To balance the pot on top of the magnet is almost impossible and took ages with various amounts of soil being spilt. The pot is so tiny that only a very small plant with miniscule amount of soil can be used and watering is also tricky. We bought one for each of our grown up kids and they have both given up with it.

The media could not be loaded.  Took a few minutes to line up the magnets because the LED indicator's aren't that bright, apart from that I love it.

Pour vendre en France, faudrait voir à mettre des transformateurs avec une prise française...obligé d'acheter un adaptateur....UK/FR.Modification : contacté par le vendeur, il m'a remboursé le prix de l'adaptateur, des vendeurs comme on aime en voir sur le net, je révise mon jugement pour passer de 2 à 4 étoiles. Comment dire que pour l’essayer avant de l’offrir, encore faut-il avoir un adaptateur de prise anglaise ! A ce prix-là, il pourrait être fourni...Édit : après avoir trouvé un adaptateur (compatible je précise bien), le produit a commencé à fondre à peine 30mn après l’avoir branché !!! Vraiment dommage, l’idée était bonne mais trop dangereuse...
