69 Year Old Female Happy to Be Put To Shame
If I could give a ten star review for this product I would do so. I'll try to be brief with this review but I make no promises. . I am a 69 year old female who has been sewing since pterodactyls flew and thats a hell of a long time. I have owned and managed to burn out several top of the line machines including the Viking #1+ , Bernina 880+ the Bernina 750 and Bernina 450, Pfaff 1475CD. They functioned well with the exception of Bernina (supposedly the gold standard..I have gone thru three of them) So...I finally purchased a Juki Industrial machine however it does nothing but straight stitch and I am a garment sewer and unless you wish to live in caftans which rarely require a buttonhole I needed another machine and so I took the plunge .... What a revelation ... This little gem of a machine has every feature of the top end machines, sews a wonderful stitch, is quiet and is so very easy to learn and operate especially after going through all of the customizing and digitizing software packages I had to learn for the embroidery on the aforementioned machines. Not a job for the faint of heart. I also taught sewing machine "how to" and software for Viking Husqvarna for many years. I sew most everything I wear ( I get bored ) and sew nearly everyday so my machines take a beating. Why I never considered an inexpensive machine is beyond my level of comprehension. I guess thinking more expensive meant better results..well it doesnt and figuring I dont have a lifetime of sewing still ahead of me I 'd take the chance of the Brother machine before investing in yet another very expensive machine . Hold your breath.... a new top of the line Bernina will cost you the staggering and shameful price of $23,000. I think manufacturers think women are ignorant and easy targets. I could purchase a new car for the price of some of these new machines especially when adding all of the extras I of course, always had to get...especially feet and embroidery supplies. I digress... this little machine came with nearly every foot I use consistently even a walking foot which can cost you a cool $100. This machine is only two hundred dollars and this foot is included? Are you getting the picture? I am thrilled with this machine and its accessories. I know how tempting it is to think buying more expensive leads to better sewing but I can assure you it does not. Perhaps if I stop sewing long enough I can upload a video along side this review but I wouldn't count on it. So..in conclusion you will not find a better value for your dollar. Thank you Brother for offering a great product at an unbelievable , reasonable and affordable price ( you now have no excuse to not sew) you deserve a gold medal.

Would not recommened it.
I'm disappointed in this machine. Wanted to send it back more than a few times. The left side of the top comes down to far and it's hard to get your hand in there to do anything. I did find if I put my hand in towards the back it's better, but it's still hard to do. I'd like to talk to the person who designed this machine. The top where you put your spool of thread, well, I've never seen anything like that before. I have the straight stitch of sewing and then I'd loose it. I'd work on it and get it back. Keep reading the book. I've got it back at the moment. But, I can't get it to do a fancy stitch. Keep working on that. I like to do fancy stitches on projects I make. It's works one time and not the next.I've never been so disappointed in a new sewing machine as I am with this one. I wouldn't recommend this machine unless your the one who built.

Love it! So easy to use for a beginner with great features!
I love this machine! I did a lot of research on sewing machines and brands before making this purchase decision. I read many reviews in that process. I would be overwhelmed with the set up and getting started sewing again since I haven’t sewn in 3-4 decades (30-40 years!). I used singer brands in the past. I am a beginning sewer. The set up and getting started with the Brother CS7205 was a piece of cake, everything about it has been easy in the three months of regular use since purchasing. I highly recommend! I referred friends and family to this machine, and they have also ordered it because of the ease of use & features.

Great buy
This machine was purchased to replace a 24 year old New Home. It is easy to use. Stitch length and tension is spot on. Directions are clear and easy to follow. I sew everyday with different weight material. I am very pleased. Accessories cover everything from straight stitch to free quilting.

Top quality and a pleasure to use
I love love love this machine. I trust this brand. my old Brother sewing machine is 40 years old and still works perfectly. I only bought this machine for the upgardes and to treat myself, and it was so worth it. Runs smoothly, its quite and I love all the stitch options and self threader. A pleasure to use!

Very happy with this machine
My last machine I had for 40 years. This will take some getting used to since it's computerized and my last one took discs to do designs. Seems to have everything I'm going to use built right in. Very happy with the purchase.
