Probably not beeswax
There is no mention of wax content on the package. Beeswax will always be specified. Paraffin usually isn't. Therefore I believe them to be paraffin.

30 minute candle!
This is not a nine hour candle! It burnt done in less than an hour! Probably not really a Coleman, because the one that came with my little lantern lasted at least 40 hours!

Fantastic Lifespan, Excellent Quality
Your first thoughts are - why do these candles cost so much per candle? I thought that too and looked elsewhere for sometime. I could not find anyone, for the price of Coleman, making a 9 hour pillar candle that actually lasted 9 hours.These go in my UCO Lantern and perform excellently, working very well for a long evening in a power outage. Thanks Coleman, and here's to not needing to use your product for a while hopefully!

Be prepared
Have the candle lantern and several packs these candles in our earthquake supplies. Kept in a cool spot, these will never go bad like batteries.

Smaller than anticipated.
These are somewhat smaller than I anticipated to fit the coleman lantern I had, but I can use them anyway.

They may not make the candle holder - but it was great to find the candles!!! Seemed to arrive as fast as hitting the enter button!!
