Very easy to use.
I used this to go through a 7 inch deep hole that was predrilled with a diamond hole saw in brick. I used this to extend my 2 1/2" wide spade wood drill bit. I had to drill through 3" of hard wood. Worked perfectly.

Quality Control Issue
Design and construction good but the shaft is not straight. There's a very obvious wobble during operation. Would buy again if I could be sure the next one would be better in this respect.

Does exactly what it says on the tin."Its a Bosch" and is definitely fit for the purpose intended. I had recently acquired both the Metric and Imperial sets of the Bosch Daredevil Spade bits and this extention gives the user an unrivalled depth of hole drilling ability.Highly recommended.

Not straight
The bar isn’t straight, so not good for accurate drilling. Which was the reason for buying a fixed extension bit. I ended up using my quick release version, at least it’s straight.Waste of money :(
