Cleaning powders are a must-have in many households for their versatility and powerful cleaning capabilities. They’re especially great for tackling tough grime, stains, and built-up dirt. Most cleaning powders have a mildly abrasive texture, which helps scrub surfaces without scratching them, making them perfect for sinks, bathtubs, ovens, and even stovetops. Plus, many come with fresh, pleasant scents that leave your space smelling clean and fresh after use. What’s great about cleaning powders is their convenience: they typically require just a sprinkle, a little scrubbing, and a rinse to get surfaces sparkling. Whether you're using them in the bathroom, kitchen, or on floors, they can break down grease, soap scum, and even mineral deposits.Another plus is that they tend to last a long time, as you only need a small amount to get the job done. For eco-conscious buyers, many cleaning powders are available in biodegradable or environmentally-friendly formulas, providing a safe and effective cleaning solution without harsh chemicals. However, it’s important to be cautious with more delicate surfaces, as the abrasiveness might cause damage over time if used too aggressively. So, always check the label for recommendations on where and how to use it.

Addictive, Cleans whatever you Throw at it (so far)
I bought this as a recommendation from a set a stainless steel cookware I just bought; it was on the manufacturer’s suggestions for cleaning them. Call me an ignorant but I never heard of this marvel before. The name sounded funny but I came to Amazon anyway and saw all the outrageous reviews and gave it a try. U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E ¡!! All the time I have been using metal polishers and cleaning paste to clean stainless steel, with good results but sometime with a lot of work to remove some of the most stubborn burnt-outs. With Bar Keepers is not only a breeze but the results are way better. I cleaned all the 8 pieces set in about 15 minutes, and then I cleaned the sink and I swear it looked like the day we installed it 6 years ago, it was so shiny that you had to wear sunglasses to look at it. Given the magnificent success I decided to try it on a few other cleaning projects:To clean the Outside of Anodized Aluminum cookware. Finally I was able to easily remove those oil spills that stick to the outside of the cookware with a few dashes of this product. I’ve used all sorts of techniques, hot water, liquid soap, powder soap even putting them on the dishwasher and the spills remained, once there and burned in they become almost permanent. But not for Bar Keepers! To clean the burn out stains on the steel burners of a gas stove. If you are cooking on a modern gas stove and oil goes into the silver rims surrounding the burners, it will immediately burn and create a brown stain very hard to remove, the sudden chemical reaction on the very hot surface creates an almost enamel oily cover on the steel surface. Before, I had to use glass cook top cleaner, a soft abrasive pad and plenty of elbow grease to remove them, a real hassle. For Bar Keepers, a small amount of powder and water enough to create a paste, some rubbing with a cloth and done, like brand new. It is also great to clean the black iron grates and pieces on the kitchenTo remove soap scum from a natural stone shower floor. No deep scrubbing necessary, just enough powder and some water and it will remove most of it with light pressure. I had to use some extra pressure on some of the scum on the grout, but nothing extraordinaryIn conclusion, an amazing product, probably the best all out cleaner available, countless uses, very easy to apply, no residue and very low price. And just strong enough to clean, soft enough to do not damage most surfaces

Easy and Effective
Works great to remove rust and dinginess. I sprinkled it on and used very little effort to scrub/wipe with a sponge. My double sink took less than 10 minutes for great results. I could probably make it even more sparkly with some elbow grease but I'm kinda lazy.

It works well for most stains but it scratches!
I have used this to get rid of some pretty bad stains and it does an exemplary job at that. However, I noticed that if you are not careful, you will scratch the pans with minor scratches. I just ordered the Tramontina Tri-Ply 8 piece cookset and the bottoms have the circular grooves. If you rub either too hard and/or you don't follow the grooves exactly, you will get scratches. They are not real deep scratches but visible non the less. I'm kind of afraid of how many scratches I'll get if I continue to use this so I am careful about rubbing too hard and to follow the grooves. I also try not to use it unless absolutely necessary. I also use white vinegar if I'm looking to get rid of discoloration only. I know that the vinegar will not scratch. Perhaps it was my cotton washcloth? I have to only rate a 4 unless someone tells me it's my own fault (which is possible).
