Holt Physics: STUDENT EDITION 2006

The book was used and a bit beat up but so was the one I used in High School so it feels nostalgic. So happy I found it!

Required textbook, pretty basic. She likes it, though, and reads everything even when not required- so it's a plus.

Textbook equivalent of Windows 8. It seems to be more about locking the user into infrastructure and directing to products and services than teaching physics. I also do not like the overall approach. Physics is highly interconnected. This book seems more directed at test takers than people learning physics in order to actually apply it. In my engineering and science work I still refer to my old Halliday and Resnick. Had I used Holt I am sure it would have been lost in a move at some point along the way.I have used a number of physics texts while tutoring. For non calculus physics I recommend Giancoli. For calculus based physics Giancoli is a great supplementary text.

I was delighted with the promptness of my order's arival. Ialso belive that the seller's discription of the book's condition was certainly accurate. the internal quality of the book was top quality and the cover's were slightly worn but other-wise in good con dition i was satisfied with my purchase.

I can't tell you about this book because it's been used at school by my son. It's just a classroom edition.

Bought this book to help with my daughter's online schooling. Very happy to see it was the same edition that the Tecca Connexus Academy was using! Book is in great condition as listed .
