Dissappointing
Purchased the SIM7000E for use in the United States. Kit came with all items shown. Connected it to an Arduino Uno R3 and had basic communication problems with simple AT commands (software serial). Tried it with the Arduino Mega with slightly better success - after switching to RealTerm (hardware serial). The Arduino support package for Windows 10 PC seems to have issues with hardware serial interfaces.Tried basic AT commands with no problems, then started working with GPS functions, all came back with errors. Sent technical support a question about it, the response was wait until the SIM7000A version was released.A little late for that.Sent technical support another question in regards to the SIM card - could the module be used without one? The answer was similar - no, it needs a SIM card.Started digging around looking for a SIM card, only to find most available ones were for other countries such as China and Europe.Another question sent to technical support, asking for a SIM card recommendation for use in the United States. The response was there are no SIM cards available for use with the SIM7000E module.Unfortunately, the original packaging is long gone. I'll hang onto the module as a reminder to carefully research any product before purchasing. As far as I can tell, the product itself works the way it's supposed to (and the Arduino PC platform is sketchy). The disappointment is the way DFRobot technical support answered the questions - very short - as if I was bothering them.

Not working
Brought the device for an Arduino Uno, tried to run it and the turnON function wasnt working. No help on the website or any fourms as seems to be defective. Libraries also terrible for it. Returning ASAP unless I can find a fix.
