Tiger's Milk Original Nutrition Bar, Energy-Packed Snack with Vitamins & Minerals, 1.23oz (Pack of 24)

I was first introduced to these at my first job - stock and cashiering - at a local health foods chain store, back in the mid 1970's. For the longest time after around the early-to-mid 1980's, I was unable to find them anywhere. Finally one supermarket chain, and then Trader Joe's started selling them, but they disappeared from their shelves about five years ago. I am glad Amazon is stocking them.These are a great tasting bar, that part candy, chocolate-like, and part protein bar, but much better than separate ones of either. Their size has of course, shrank considerably over the years, so they aren't as filling and satisfying as they were decades ago, but the taste and quality are the same.I highly recommend these as an alternative to chocolate bars, and they taste much better than your average protein bar that's available nowadays. I don't think there a better tasting, healthier one on the market.

I remembered Tigers Milk bars when I was a kid in the late 1970s and my older brother went on a health food kick. He gave me one of these and it was so delicious. I don't remember energy bars being a thing then, or even granola bars yet.These are chocolately and chewy and a substantial snack, or if you had to, as a meal replacement paired with fruit.When i saw these were sold on Amazon, i got them for my kids and they just loved them.Not too sweet like those yukky Dips granola bars. More like an Elevation bar but smaller and not quite as sweet.

My brother in law used to get them all the time they are great and fullbof good stuff. He is out of stste now and can't get them in his area. I ordered an entire case he had them 5 days and they are gone already! Great taste and super value on amazon ☺

Grew up on these in the 1970s as a competitive swimmer for over 20 years. Still the same great taste and protein punch as ever -- but the bar is a bit smaller.

These bars have never changed in the 20+ yrs I have been consuming them. The flavor is yummy,band the thickness is perfect and texture is semi chewy and oh so delicious. I think the values of the 98 bars is the best value.

I didn't like that protein rich bar was the picture but we only received original flavor bars. Just seemed sneaky. Bars are great, though. Our first choice is the protein rich bars.

I grew up on these. My mother and child hood friends mother used to sell them. Had a hard time because I kept eating them. They are good and I just ordered the peanut butter ones. Great for a meal replacement or snack!

We've bought Tiger Milk Bars for awhile and have found them to be the perfect snack especially if you are looking to increase your protein intake. The boxes arrive on time and undamaged. Worth trying if you haven't.
