Good Night New Jersey (Good Night Our World)

I purchased it for a friend who teaches at the younger levels. She loved it. It also inspired several ideas for other projects. Kids don't know about where they live. Most parents can't tell you about the historical markers in their town. This book is a start on educating children about where they live. There are versions for other states. Great gift. Also a great gift for people who have moved, and have children in another state. We purchased one about Canada for friends from Canada, but with children in the states. It lets children learn about where aunts and uncles lives, grandparents... it doesn't have to be just the state in which they reside. We live in a tri-state area, so all three books were perfect.

We love reading this to our LO and calling out the places he’s been or where we can take him next. Such a great way to connect reading with personal experiences!

We love this series, and try to get a book from places we visit, to read to the kids and remind them of the things we saw/did during our trips. Sometimes we can't find them during the trip so we buy them afterwards online. Would also be a good idea to get them excited about a destination beforehand!

It's not written by someone from New Jersey. It's not the new jersey shore... You go down the shore... And NJ isn't exactly known for lobster fishing. But in general, many of the other good morning books feel like the author knew a thing or two about the subject. This author knows only of the jersey shore, and only "of" it. I guess it's cute and all, but what the heck is a herring gull? No thanks.

Great book for little ones living in Jersey. Has all the highlights of things to see and do...and since we have Goodnight New York and Goodnight Pennsylvania, it was equally fun to read and did not disappoint. the book is sturdy and the illustrations are colorful.
