MotoMfg-STEEL Ducati 41mm/46mm wheel nut socket for Hypermotard 848 MTS1100

This tool exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. Having both the 41 and 46 mm socket in one tool is great. Buying them singly would cost 2-4 times as much. And any of the Ducati shops near me were selling a similar tool for twice the price. The 1/2 drive is icing on the cake (no need for 3/4 like a lot of other sockets, which I would have just reduced down anyway). The socket depth was just right, even though it appears shallow.I have used the product to remove the rear wheel (46mm), and the nut was extremely overtorqued from the last shop install. I was worried the tool would either round out, or the tool itself would round off the wheel nut. Of course I was careful, but finally eased off the wheel nut and both the tool and nut maintained their profile. Both the socket and the drive were a good, tight fit with no sloppiness. I fitted this onto a Craftsman 1/2" Breaker Bar. I think it would work even better on an impact wrench.I bought this for nothing other than wheel maintenance on my bike, so was not interesting in spending $100 on sockets, extensions, etc... that I would only use 1/year or less.

Machining isn't super smooth...however, it's a socket, it doesn't need to be pretty. Fits the nuts on my 2012 Ducati 848 perfectly.
