Having owned and regularly used this Jsdoin garlic press for a significant amount of time now, I can see exactly why it holds a top best-seller spot. The solid, heavy-duty metal construction feels incredibly robust in the hand, with a reassuring weight that instantly sets it apart from flimsy plastic alternatives. The hinges and rivets remain completely tight and stable even after extensive use, showing no signs of bending, loosening, or wearing down under pressure. The ergonomics of the curved handles are excellent, providing fantastic leverage that makes crushing cloves completely effortless. You don’t need maximum grip strength to get great results; the mechanism smoothly forces the garlic through without leaving half of the clove stuck inside the chamber. It handles multiple small cloves or large unpeeled ones equally well, clean-crushing them down to a perfectly fine mince that releases all the flavour for cooking.

Amazing item.

Works really well, but doesn't last that long. Makes crushing garlic really easy; don't have to peel it and gets a lot out of each clove. However, the first one I bought was in 2022. That lasted 3 years which for £6 I was happy with, but eventually the handle snapped. The second one I bought lasted less than a year before the metal in the plate part broke. Going to try a different brand now.

So easy to use, so efficient, and has saved me a lot of time

The garlic press works as intended and I wouldn’t fault it on its ability to crush garlic with relative ease. My partner does say that it is quite hard to crush and jokes that she needs to hit the gym to crush with ease. The actual design is straight forward not only for its use but also cleaning afterwards. It’s very sturdy and I don’t think the reviews of others do it justice. I do believe it will last a very long time and find the value to be there for what we paid. You can view the video to see the pressure needed to use the press but I am still giving it a 5 star review for everything I’ve detailed above.

Very practical. Good big squeeze area and a big lump of garlic goes in easily. It works very well. Looks like good stainless steel but if i see its not good quality i revise.

Works well good quality

This device is a relatively easy and quick way to mince garlic cloves. It can be a little hard work with the bigger cloves, and sometimes the inner crusher plate needs guiding into place, but it produces consistently crushed or minced garlic with no waste and little mess. Cleaning up is also simple as all parts can be exposed for rinsing. It feels strong enough to last; only time will tell.

Longtemps j'ai risquer de me couper les doigts en essayant de faire de beaux petits morceaux alors que cet appareil existait !!! Simple et efficace, il fait très bien son boulot
