Review of the mermaid duvet cover (quick fact check, you have to buy the comforter separately and stuff it into this cover, this is essentially a pillowcase for a blanket. It is not a sheet, and it is not a blanket/comforter, it is a duvet cover. People typically use duvet covers on down comforters to protect them since they're pricey and not easily laundered):Beautiful - but not as beautiful as you'd think based on the photo. The mermaid looks more cartoonish when viewed up close in person (looks more elegant from far away). It's not bad but it doesn't have the wow factor in person that I was expecting. Queen size comes with two identical pillowcases, one side has shells the other has the mermaid script as shown in the photos. I'm happy they BOTH have the shells on one side because I prefer that to the mermaid script. There are no corner ties in the duvet cover to hold the comforter in place!! That's super annoying. In one of the stock photos you see thread lines going down the duvet cover (which makes it look like it's a comforter instead of a duvet cover). There are no thread lines on the actual product. The back of the cover is purple, as shown in my photos. Overall, it's a cute microfiber duvet cover but nothing special so I'm glad they're charging a fair price for this (34.99 at the time of this review) instead of the outrageous prices you normally see on disney items.

This may be my fault because I guess a duvet is only a cover for a blanket.There were other Disney blankets/comforters for around the same price so I rated this 3 stars because of the price for what you're actually getting.

The design is incredible and I love how soft it is. I knew before purchasing that it did not have clips to hold the comforter in place within so I lazily stitched the tops together so that I can easily grab the top and straighten the whole thing but it's still a pain in the butt to get tangled in the cover and the actual blanket is bunched up in no man's land.

I’m 33 and I love Ariel. My husband actually bought this for our bed for me. He says it doesn’t matter what he’s sleeping on but who he’s sleeping next to and he knew it would make me smile having this. It’s so soft and the colors are so vibrant.

The colors are so soothing and its so cooking and warm. I needed to change the colors on our room and this was perfect to relax and enjoy after a long day of work!! It's super easy to clean and I loooove it

It’s priced right for average material.

It’s incredibly soft and I love the colors, I always wanted a Little Mermaid duvet as a kid so 40 y/o me is ecstatic. The fabric is very thin and putting my duvet inside the cover is the bane of my existence so it took some time, there’s no ties so I used safety pins on the corners to keep it in place, doesn’t bother me. Very happy with my purchase.
