I show it going together in the first part of my video then I show my cat seeing the fountain for the first time... He was not too sure that it wasn't going to eat him. It took all day for him to get used to it and finally try drinking from it but now he just loves it. My cat used to jump into the sink anytime someone walked into the bathroom, he loves drinking from running water. Now he can do that all the time. Once a week you need to change the water out and clean the filter or replace it. I will clean it a few times before replacing. I will soak it in some lightly bleached water for a few minutes then rinse thoroughly, that will kill any germs or algae that might start growing. This is a lovely option for cats and small dogs that would prefer not to drink standing water. My cat is also starting to play a little with it so it is entertaining for him also.You can have the full flower in there or remove the yellow center for a more even flow or you can remove the whole flower (Stem included) and just have the water bubbling up out of the hole, whatever suits you and your pet.

4 of my 4 cats love it! Runs silently. NO ENGLISH INSTRUCTIONS!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. It has been cold recently, so we have had to let our water faucets drip to keep from freezing the pipes at night. We have four cats, and we observed our newest spending a lot of her time drinking out of the sink faucet, so we thought she might enjoy a water fountain, so we purchased this one from UBANTE. The first thing I noticed was that the instructions are in characters, and there are no English instructions! I was able to use the illustrations to figure out how to put it together though. It comes with a pump in the bottom, preinstalled, with the electrical cord going up the side. That plugs into an AC adapter which is included, and the cord is a good length. A top piece goes on the bottom container, and it has a snapping piece in the middle that you remove to install the white water filters, which are included. The illustrations show the filters being rinsed off, and I know from other charcoal filters that you should run them under water for a few minutes to get all of the dust out, but it would be nice to read about that in the directions. Put all of that together and insert the flower tube in the middle, and installation is complete. The next thing to do is fill it with water, but how much water should you use? There is no fill line or marker. I just filled it until it came out of the top, and it worked perfectly fine. The motor is very quiet, and it doesn't make a splashing sound. My wife was worried that she would hear a running water sound that would annoy her, but we are a few feet away and can't hear it.The most important thing is how the four cats took to it. Three of them started drinking from it immediately, and the fourth took five days to decide to try it. Now, they all love it, and it has replaced our regular water bowl. They tried playing in it at first, but that only lasted a few minutes. Now, they just drink out of it, and haven't made a mess with the water since the first day.Other than there being no English instructions and thus being unsure of where to fill the water to, I found no other flaws with this product and am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend this pet water fountain to anyone with small animals. 4/5 stars

My, and my kitties', favorite fountain of all we have!
I have three cats, one of whom had a bout of cystitis recently; awful experience. I had purchased a stainless steel fountain a year ago, but decided to put water fountains everywhere to make sure they would pretty much 'trip' into water everywhere. Purchased three additional fountains that could be less robust in their water delivery because my kitties all prefer calmer water when drinking. (Chose three different ones to compare which style was favored so I'd know which one to buy in the future as they wore out and I needed to replace them. Oh and FYI, my kitties have pretty much boycotted the stainless steel fountain in favor of all three plastic ones so I don't recommend mixing fountain materials if you purchase more than one.)I LOVE this fountain! Took off the fountain 'streaming/flower' parts and just allow the water to bubble up without them. Totally quiet, flow is more gentle, and exceptionally easy to clean; EXCEPTIONALLY! Everything pops up and out, and the instructions make it simple to understand where I should keep the water lever. Compact, easy for the kitties to use, and easy on me to maintain.Great purchase! Also, it was only more expensive than one of the other three fountains. Bargain!
