Just placed my 2nd order for this. I am half black and half asian and finding products that work with my hair type has been quite the adventure! I have tried COUNTLESS curly hair styling products from low end to ridiculously high end. I have been watching Curl Keeper since 2013, but never pulled the trigger becuase I thought the price a little too steep for a mere 8oz bottle and I've been disappointed far too many times. I finally bit the bullet, and I have to say, HANDS DOWN, the best curly product I've ever used. My curls look amazing. I live on the southern gulf coast where humidity is no joke, but this stuff keeps my curls looking red carpet ready. I diffuse and am generous with the product, so sections will dry kinda hard. Once dry, I simply flip my hair over and scrunch it out and I have soft, full, bouncy curls that hold all day. Even 2nd day curls look amazing. This one is definitely a keeper and had been added to my holy grail list of hair products.

This gel holds a curl like no other however the crunch left behind needs an oil to break it up. It is super effective for holding curls/wavy hair all day. One of the best hair gels I have ever tried.

There are some curls that require gel and not cream! This curl keeper is a perfect gel to keep your curls manageable and bouncy! Love this product!

This only worked half as good as promised. So I live in South Texas and we were just hit by a week long rain event by the name of Harvey. I have shoulder length, naturally "wavy" hair. I usually air dry/scrunch my hair and like the way it curls on the ends and has a good amount of volume because of the wavy thing. On the downside, my hair also gets really frizzy with the high humidity. This product DID keep my hair from frizzing, but it also weighed it down and made it look blah/flat - I'd rather have frizzy. I thought I may have used too much product but it didn't help when I tried it again, twice - disappointed that I wasted my money.

Works well but it does tend to make my hair feel dry and heavy. I notice that it is a little difficult to wash out.

I have tried many different brands and none work as effectively as this one. The hair isn’t sticky or weighed down. It combs thru and fluffs right back up the next day.

I would consider this to be a lightweight gel. I have 2a-2c, dense, low porosity hair and I haven't completely decided if I love this product yet. It's definitely given me a different kind of texture and overall hold throughout the day. It did however take some time for me to figure out that the initial order I was using my 4 products in didn't work with this gel. Instead of leave-in, cream, custard, gel....now I have to do cream, leave-in, gel, custard. I feel it could be amazing if I just find the right products to go with it. **Edit: I have now switched out a few daily products I use along with this gel and I LOVE WHAT IT DOES!!! I knew this had huge potential, but I also knew the products I was using before were crap. I now give this product 5 stars :D

This hair gel is great and water based too, which is good for my fine hair, love this product!

This is my favourite hair gel right now. I use this after I’ve used the curl keeper original product to scrunch my curls and really give them a nice cast and hold. My hair is on the thinner side and wavy to curly and it works for my hair.

I've been using this hard hard gel since I started transitioning back to my natural curls. My dry, frizzy 3b curls really enjoy the extra hard hold this gel provides, keeping my curls intact for a full week. It's humidity-blocking but does not weigh down the hair, nor does it feel dry. This is an excellent gel for all seasons, and holds up to the most extreme weather and temperatures. If you're looking for a new holy-grail, go-to, I would recommend giving this one a try.

laughable size for the price. what has this world come to ?! I can get a huge tub of eco or shea moisture for this price. anyway last time I tried this gel it worked well 😹 going to test it again

Love this product. Not remotely sticky. Zero crunch. Great smell as well.
