Great for Cats & Dogs!
I have very jealous cats & dogs, so treats I can feed all of them together are a huge win for me!I actually used this product to train my 14 year old cat to “sit” & “touch” along side my puppies. They must taste great, cause all of my animals go crazy for these & I love that they are nutritious for everyone! Sometimes the bigger pieces are too much for the cats but they aren’t hard to break apart.

A favorite of our picky little dogs
We have spoiled our little rescue dogs to the point that they want variety in their treats. Since they had both been abused before we adopted them, we figure they deserve to be spoiled. We came across these and decided to try them. We like the brand and were attracted by the fact that they are single ingredient, with no additives. Since they would be healthy for our dogs, we felt it made them a good choice. Our picky dogs immediately LOVED them! Success! While they are a bit pricey, we find that there are plenty of pieces in the bag and, keeping it very special by not giving them too many too often, the bag lasts us quite a while.

My pup loves these lamb and also the chicken hearts. One of those high value treats we keep for special occasions. She goes wild for them! Great nutrition and she loves the chicken heart size as they are bite size. Great training treat!

A convient, cost-effective addition to a raw food diet
A few years ago, I started feeding my ferrets homemade raw food instead of kibble. (For those who don't know, ferrets are obligate carnivores, like cats.) Heart muscle is an important ingredient in any raw carnivore diet. I was using pig hearts from a local Vietnamese market, and it was so annoying, having to freeze them, thaw them, cut them up... the smell was awful... I also felt like I had to cook it just because, well, pigs are notorius disease transmitters...Then I found these.Yes, the bag is expensive. But you have to factor in the "freeze dried" of it all. Freeze dried heart muscle has the same nutrient value as raw heart muscle at a fraction of the weight. Where I was paying around $5 for four raw pig hearts, I now pay around $30 for this bag of, as far as I can tell, over a hundred chicken hearts. Then, factor in effort. Where before I had to freeze and thaw and cut and cook and store, now I just drop a few freeze dried hearts into a blender with some chicken meat and done.As a result, I am actually putting more heart meat into my ferret food and the effect has been similar to when I first started feeding them raw food. They are noticeably softer, more active, and more playful. The one who's always been my softest now feels like pure silk, and the "old guy" has his youthful spirit of adventure back. Nothing has changed except me replacing cooked organ meat with freeze dried organ meat and being able to put more into each batch of food as a result. The takeaway: freeze dried organs are indeed as nutrient dense as whole raw organs - more nutrient dense than cooked organ meat. They are also far easier to handle than whole raw organs. My own journey from kibble to raw diet has proven to me the positive effects of feeding any creature what it is in that creature's nature to eat, and these freeze dried hearts are a convenient way to add some healthy meat to a pet's diet.
