Perfect Image Gly + Sal Exfoliating Body Lotion, 8% Glycolic Acid and 2% Salicylic Acid Lotion Enhanced with Green Tea, Papaya, Bearberry, Licorice and Amino Complex

August 16, 2018*** This lotion is the "missing link" that I have been looking for to perfect my skin. My skin has come a long way - discoloration, adult acne, flaky, enlarged pores... While I could get any one or two of those things in control, it always seemed as soon as I fixed one thing, another got worse. I heard that glysal was good. It was not good, IT IS GREAT! It's summer and my legs have that glowy, youthful, really healthy skin look. I really didn't expect this to work that well, I have never had anything make such a dramatic improvement that did not include needles or knives. It worked so good on my body that I slathered it up on my neck and face too. WOW! Now that made the huge difference. The first thing I noticed is my dark spots and pigmentation was gone - not better, just gone... I have had laser, dermabrasion, hydroquinine, retin A - while the dark patches always got better with those they never went away. Not until gly sal - the patches of hyperpigmentation I have had for 12 years are GONE. Better than that - I have enlarged pores on my cheeks. I always have, even as a preteen I remember having enlarged pores and I am well past a pre-teen now (just shy of 50). The pores on my face are almost gone! How does this work? I don't have any idea but I know that my skin is smooth and silky. I actually pulled up my heavy magnification mirror to make sure. Sure enough, pigmentation, dry patches and enlarged pores ate GONE. It was suprising and shocking. I had no idea how well this would work! To be honest, it was kind of an impulse purchase but I AM SO GLAD I BOUGHT IT! This is not lotion - it is the fountain of youth in a bottle. May 7, 2019*** update*** ok, still using this, still completely in LOVE with it! It's been 9 months now and it's like I have all new skin! I had a horrible scar on my calf (from 1997) where I crashed into coral while playing in the ocean- not raised but one of those dark scars.. it's gone! Seriously gone! 22 years of using dermablend makeup on my leg is over! The best thing is that crepey arm skin and sagging upper 50 year old arm. Im giving credit to the lotion but I even find it hard to believe...You know that getting old, loose skin look that happens around 50 no matter how hard you work out or drink water...ITS GONE! 9 months of the lotion and I just put on a sleevless dress, went to grab a jean jacket to cover my mom arms and they were GONE! NO MORE ARM WINGS/ AGING MOM ARM. I'm still kind of in shock- I'm thin and I work out but it's hard to keep your skin young, I've had cool sculpt, radio frequency treatment, massage but NOTHING has helped my skin like this!! This lotion has replaced my dermabrasion, Botox,IPL laser, derma planing, PRP facials, retin A and hydroquinone. Probably saved me $5000 this year alone. Best purchase I've ever made. BUY IT! USE IT!

I have tried several other Perfect Image products, liked most of them and swear by a few. I’ve wanted to try this lotion for a while but was hesitant because I didn’t find their facial moisturizer to be a good fit for my skin. However, this stuff is amazing!! I’ve been using it almost every day since it arrived a week and a half ago, and I already see improvement in softness and smoothness of my skin (irritation here and there, such as bumps on my arms, a blemish on my shoulder where my sports bra strap usually sits). It also smells lovely, but isn’t overpowering, and is incredibly moisturizing. I don’t know how they managed to create this all-in-one exfoliating and moisturizing and delightfully fragranced product that doesn’t irritate my skin or allergies, but they did. I’m so glad! Also of note, the texture is a little strange. It pumps out like a regular lotion. Then, as I start to rub it in, it sort of breaks up into tiny, white, glommy pieces that need to be really rubbed in, but then it’s totally transparent after that. My skin is moisturized and smells nice, and I get to reap the exfoliating benefits. I skipped a day when I applied self-tanner to my legs, and I think that application was even smoother and more even than usual. And I already follow a regular regimen before applying to achieve and even ‘tan.’ I am in love. It will definitely be a staple product for me!!

I started using this about a year ago and I can't speak highly enough about this lotion. I have KP which in turn gives me issues with ingrown hairs and made it painful after shaving. I have tried many treatments prescribed and over the counter and this is the only one that has truly worked. Is my skin 100%? NO, but I can shave without worrying about angry painful bumps, I no longer feel self conscious when people brush my arm, and I get complimented on my soft skin all the time! I started using it once a day and after my skin cleared I switched to every other day (and always after a shower). One bottle lasted me about a month. Now I dilute it with oil and I can stretch it to 2 months. Momma's on a budget! Suggestions: -ALWAYS wear sunscreen when going out. First off duh, secondly it will make you sensitive to the sun. You'll burn. -If you have some trouble spots, I've used other perfect image peels and found them satisfactory. Let's face it, ideally it would be great to go to the medspa and get the microderm/peel combo every month but if your on a tighter budget this is the next best thing. For the cost of a fraction of one treatment I can get upwards of 6 months of peels! -Be careful and research and read the directions. Don't ruin your skin bc you were impatient.

BE CAREFUL! Seriously, they should put some warning label for new users advising them that they should do a small patch test first. The first time I tried this product, I had a rash on my face for a week afterward. Funny enough though, once the rash died down, my skin looked uncommonly clear and glowing. Not worth having a rash for a week, though! The next time I tried it, I used a smaller amount and only let it sit on my face for about ten minutes before washing it off, instead of leaving it on indefinitely like I did the previous time. The ten-minute treatment seems to be just right for my skin, and it glows afterward. My best advice is to just start carefully at first in case your skin is sensitive to it. The problem that a lot of reviewers mentioned about the watery consistency is not an issue here. It was perfectly fine and lotion-y. They must have fixed the problem with that batch.

I'm so torn about how to rate this product. It's literally everything I've been looking for - with one very important exception. It is so heavily fragranced that I'm not sure I'll be able to use it. I've been using the Paula's Choice glycolic body lotion for quite some time, and I was hoping for something that worked similarly, but was a little stronger. This functions beautifully leaves my thick, dry skin much softer and more supple. The smell wouldn't be offensive if it weren't so strong. There's a LOT of frangrance in this stuff! I only had a little on my hands and my husband walked by and said, "What's that smell?!" - and not in a good way. UGH! PLEASE make your products without fragrance!! I would be a long time customer. As it stands, I'm going to use this on my feet and hope the smell doesn't continue to annoy us.

The product goes on thick at first but absorbs quickly, the scent is a bit strong but pleasant. I put in on my unshaven legs and back of my arms for keratosis pilaris/ingrown hairs which I’ve struggled with for years! To my amazement I woke up with baby soft legs after one application-even with my prickly leg hairs I could not stop touching them! I’ve tried other otc products specifically for these skin conditions (recommended from my dermatologist) gold bond, amlactin, cerave, was not getting the results I wanted even after weeks of use and those products either peeled off or smelled terrible! We’ll see how long the bottle lasts and if my skin continues to improve with use-I’ve never paid more than $15 on lotion I wish they would sell it in a larger value size. Regardless this lotion is amazing and after just one use I’m convinced I’ve found the solution to my rough bumpy skin! I love Perfect Image products-can’t wait to try more!

I am very happy with this product and will post an update in a month on how it works. I am using it for two weeks now and I am very happy with results. So my problem is my bacne which is killing me... I not only get acnes on my back but all the dark spots from previous acnes are covering my back so I can never wear open back clothes unless I put foundation on which my boyfriend hates since it goes on his shirt if he hugs me lol but now back to the review, this product is already showing it's magic I am not getting much acne at my back and my dark spots are fainting which is amazing.... Product tells that it will cause light sensitivity so if you want to use it this is a good time to try it since it's winter and we don't get that much sun exposure. but if you use it on your face which I do and it works amazing I make sure to put my sunscreen.

Waited a bit to review this after receiving the lotion in order to try it for a few weeks. This product arrived undamaged and on time. Bought it for my husband to help with ingrown hairs after shaving. Worked like a charm. The scent is very mild and more herbal smelling and when applied may cause a slight tingling but that quickly dissipates. I love that this product has licorice root which helps calm skin. This is only one of many products that I have purchased from this company and they haven't disappointed me yet. Great products that are made with quality ingredients and a fair price point.
