Gorgeous and Fun!
Although it does not say this is melamine, I noticed this explanation elsewhere and ordered the dishes. They are steal at this prices as on other sites they are this sort of price per plate rather than for 4. They are lovely large plates (hard to find) and a very good quality. I have ordered 2 sets!

These are melamine
I bought these plates as I have other plates by Sara Miller that I love but are cake plates and I was looking for new dinner plates. It is not clear from the description that they are plastic. They should be described as picnic plates and NOT as dinner plates - it is misleading and unfair
