They have great designs and the 3 sizes are perfect

This is a nice book for a beginner. There's a lot of information in it about the individual patterns and suggested stitches. They are definitely vintage patterns and each pattern comes in three sizes small (about 3to 4 inches square), medium (about 5 to 7 inches square) and large pretty much fills an 8X11 page. I would call it a 5 star for a beginner at hand embroidery, but it's just a little rudimentary for an advanced stitcher.
