Great laptop for the money
I wanted a cheap, lightweight, no frills windows laptop to use when travelling. I have tried various tablets in the past but never really gotten on with them. I have a Lenovo desktop which I have been happy with so decided to try the S130 laptop. Although listed at £229.99 the price dropped to £179.99 so I decided to go for it. My previous windows laptop had become as slow as a three legged tortoise with arthritis so I had purchased a Chromebook in view of the fast boot up time. Although very pleased with the Acer Chromebook it has a few restrictions which is another reason I wanted a cheap Windows machine. So far I am very pleased with the boot up time of the Lenovo. As it runs Windows 10S the promise is that it will boot up as quickly on day 1,000 as it did on day 1. I will be very interested to see if this turns out to be true!I am running Windows 10 in S mode so there are restrictions on what software I can download. This is not, however, a problem at the moment as the installed software serves my purpose. There is an option to convert to Windows Home if need be in order that other software can be downloaded. The amount of memory may be a problem for some. Although advertised as 64gb it is a lot less as over 20gb is taken up by the operating system. This is not a problem for me as I use cloud storage and also an external hard drive. The machine itself is quite lightweight. Not the most robust laptop I have owned and certainly not as well constructed at the Acer Chromebook but touchpad and keyboard are fine and screen quality is adequate. It charges quickly.I have been using it for two weeks now and have no complaints at all. It fits the bill precisely for what I want to use it for i.e. basic computing whilst on the move. It's a classic case of "you get what you pay for". Not the fastest machine in the world and not one for gamers but for the money I am more than happy.

Lovely but limited
It is a lovely little computer, well-built and good value. I bought it via Amazon Warehouse to replace an ageing laptop with Windows 7, and as I already have an excellent Chromebook, this seemed an inexpensive way to acquire Windows 10 and the bundled Office - I prefer Word and PowerPoint to the chromebook version. Unfortunately while PPoint worked well and my work was saved to the cloud, the computer wouldn't save my presentations to its memory or even allow them to be used via a memory stick (I was directed to a screen asking me to upgrade/pay to be able to do this). This negated why I bought it in the first place ( to have PPoint presentations in places without internet access) and I returned it to Amazon and will buy something else. Therefore good as a small basic computer (but slow), but not suitable for my needs.

Good basic laptop
Laptop itself is just right for the price. Cheapest new laptop on market from recognisable brand so it's nothing fancy but that's what I wanted. Perfect for a couple of zoom calls every few days and a couple of larger apps. The one I bought was sold as a 'no fault return' and it was exactly as described. Only a few scratches to lid but everything works perfectly.

Very pleased up to now.
I like this product. I needed something that would print to my old printer that is not wireless. This does the job perfectly. The product is substantial enough whilst being lightweight and very easy to use for someone who has not worked on a laptop for a few years.

Economy laptop - just the job
I have apple powerbook which cost 15x what this product cost. After about 4 years+ this simple product is just about as good as my Appe laptop. That's the problem with tech these days. You buy a iphone or apple laptop and then in 3 or 4 years time, Apple stop producing updates and software for it so you end up witha device that becomes virtually useless overtime. Buying a laptop like this for simple tasks is all you need. Make sure you get 64gb or ideally double that if just using for day a to day surfing and college work. This product is not going to play computer games at high speed quality etc. That's not what it's designed for. But if you just need to do college work and want to surf online etc and a bit more, then why pay more than £200? It's a no brainer. In 2 years time, you'll be able to buy another for £200 and it will be twice as fast. Throw away fashion is now here with tech. Which is a shame as fast consumption just brings greater pollution and carbon issues. But I'd rather pay less for tech now rather than pay shed loads it and not be future proofed. Ironically, I here that Apple are now making a cheaper iphone with stripped down functions. Iphones will £200 brand new in a few years time as £800+ is a joke on consumers. As for this laptop, it's perfect for the uses I need it for and comes with Microsoft latest software at no extra cost or need to update/subscribe etc.

Good for those on the go
I liked the size. It is petite and is good for general Microsoft functions (e.g. Word doc), surfing the web and Zoom etc.Don't ask it to multitask though, it slows down

Very Average
Cheap laptop that feels cheap, mouse pad & keyboard has a very low quality plastic feel to it. Okay for using internet etc but I would consider buying another laptop for professional use. You get what you pay for really.

Great price, great laptop!
I had previously had a tablet which stopped working. Thought I would buy myself a laptop.Price was a factor as I only use it for facebook, Netflix and other small tasks. It was easy to setup, decent size screen and really easy to use.
