I was concerned that the drive wasn't going to read/write properly, and I've come to find that it works perfectly! Especially for moving data from Windows 10 to Windows 98 which was what I needed.Keep in mind the drive won't automatically start reading the diskette when it's inserted like a CD/DVD Drive would. You'll need to navigate into the floppy drive on your computer for it to start reading it. (Don't freak out if you notice this, this is normal for all floppy drives)

No problem using this. Once it is recognized by the computer it is easy.

This drive seems to work well with Mac OS X. However, I soon realized how slow floppy technology is compared to today’s r/w speeds and abandoned my project.

It worked perfectly right out of the box. I don,t remember seeing anything about this working on windows 7 but it does. I have a Sony camera that takes floppy disk and it still works like the first day I used it. Now this is the only I can get the pictures off of the floppy.
