Make the sound sweeter?
Not sure if it makes the sound sweeter, but my daughter does say it gives some kind of natural singing sound on the violin making it sound like an angel singing. I don’t know what that sounds like, but she seems very happy with the rosin! Happy daughter, happy mummy!

The best!
I don't often write reviews. However, as a professional violinist, I am always interested in new products, especially if they promise to make my job easier. I have owned almost every type of rosin available for violin, and following a review of tests carried out by a leading firm of string makers, I was persuaded to buy the entire range of Cecilia's rosin, two of which I found to be excellent. Then I saw a video presentation by soloist Nicola Benedetti, in which she revealed that her favourite rosin was by Guillaume. It took me a long time at that time, to find a seller of this in the UK, but eventually I did, and I must say, it is far superior to any rosin I have ever tried. I am now on my second cake of Guillaume, which I found on Amazon. I can only speak for myself, my particular instrument and bow, but I don't need to try another brand of rosin ever again.

Maravillosa calidad
Tiene una suavidad para ponerla en el arco y el agarre en la cuerda es muy fácil

Noticeable tone improvement
A very audible improvement in tone from what I was using before (Bernardel rosin). It provides a more subtle and sweeter tone than I've experience with other rosins.

Is my go to rosin now
I still have sartory in one case, Holstein Reserve in another and Pirastro olive in a 3rd. They live there and work just fine. But THIS is the rosin I keep out next to practice stand. I use it on all bows/all strings/all 3 violins—daily! a workhorse. Sounds great and feels wonderful. Just enough grip. I’m in Cleveland, Ohio . Have used thru winter into spring so far

Great bow rosin, use it on both my cello and violin.
This rosin was recommended by a great concert violinist Nicola Beneditti, so I purchased it and am totally pleased with it.
