NutriVed Zinc & Methionine Chewable Tablets for Dogs (100 count)

Recommended by my dog dermatologist for my frenchie that suffers from margin keratosis on her ears and nose. She gets two of these per day based on her weight and it helped clear up the scabs and growth super quick. She’s been on it for almost 3 years and has had almost no issues since. Effective and the bottle goes a decent way for the price. The ONLY con is that it’s marketed as chewable. The tabs are each quite large and in my experience they’re usually VERY hard. This is inconsistent based on batch I guess bc some have been softer than others. But for my frenchie these are too large and a choking hazard for sure. So if you have a smaller pet that needs these my recommendation is to use a steel food dish and smash them in the bowl first. Then I add in her fishbowls and food and she scarfs it all down. I use a paper towel on top when I crush them so the pieces don’t fly across the kitchen (learned this the hard way).

Our poor girl was very zinc deficient being a husky mix. She lost hair around her eyes and got sores around her mouth. My vet actually recommended this brand and once we got the dosage right it works wonderful very cost-effective. My girl no longer looses hair around her eyes and no longer get sores around her lips. This product is great!

I have a husky and he was having issues with yeast infection sores underneath his mouth. I did some research online and found many people saying that Huskies tend to have zinc deficiency and that can cause this. I ordered these, and slowly started my husky on one a day for about a week to make sure he wouldn't have an upset stomach. Per the recommendation on the bottle my husky could probably take 3, but now I have him on 2 per day and all of the yeast infection sores are gone. I will certainly continue to order these

These are a great supplement for your dogs and my dogs have no problem, chewing them and think they are treats!

I order these regularly. My dogs nose has one side that is very dry and scaly. They said she might have Lupus but don’t have the funds for text. She takes one of these daily and as long as she does, it looks so much better, not as dry. It hasn’t taken it away completely, but it’s starts getting worse if she stops having them daily. So I guess she’ll be on these for the foreseeable future. **Included a picture of my pups. She’s the one on the right. I can’t find the picture with her nose looking bad.

So far these are helping my Husky with his contact dermatitis. This product was recommended by our vet’s dermatologist. They are not chewable so I cut them into pieces for my dog to eat with his regular food. I may try soaking them. My dog eats them but I can tell he’s not a big fan.

I was looking forward to trying this product after my Vet recommended it, for my French Bulldog’s skin condition. Unfortunately, this made my dog vomit after the second time giving it to her, even on a full stomach. Unfortunately it’s a non returnable item. I won’t be giving it to her any more.

I have a husky mix and he was losing some hair in places. I did some research and over time this helped his hair grow back. He also likes the taste of them without peanut butter!
