I love love these. They dry fast so there’s no smudge. Clearly labeled and easy to identify the size. I mostly use the smallest one and it is starting to run out after doing a few large projects but I’ll be using this brand from now on. Other similar pens from Hobby Lobby smudged :/

I love Faber-Castell Artist Pens. I use them for bullet journaling. The high-quality ink doesn't run and is permanent. It has a pretty quick drying time as well that helps reduce smudging. I will be purchasing these again. The XS pen is great, but you have to be VERY careful when you write with it. If you push slightly too hard it will ruin the fine line. I really love the S and F pens. The M is really good for bold outlines. I recommend these to all of my friends who are BuJo nerds. I keep my BuJo pretty minimalistic and these are perfect for me to ensure that my notes and calendars are saved, especially since my toddler tries to sneak her markers into my journal. They don't do much ghosting in the Leuchturrm1917 as long as you aren't constantly going T H I C C and bold with your lines.

Filled with India ink and a much stronger tip than Micron. Beautiful lines at any thickness. I much prefer these line pens to any other.

I love these pens. I’m not an artist, but I love writing with them. They’re line using black India Ink without the mess or hassle. And they don’t bleed through sheets of paper! Great product. If you like to draw, you’ll really love them! Better than any other writing pen on the market, ballpoint, roller, gel pen, or otherwise. Made in Germany. Highly recommend!

You're going to find people who swear by micron and other brands either on the inkflow, cost, and reliability, and they'll be right but this is still a good, affordable next-step set to use above cheap office store pens without breaking the bank, or if you go through ink at an above-average semi-professional to professional pace. The variety of sizes reminds me that it's unfortunate that there isn't really a great bulk deal for a single nib size that's easy to spot if you find one you like, but that's a niche quibble. So, here's a haiku to go with: Good ink pens, they work. Maybe not for Da Vinci, But the price is fair.

Excellent india ink option

I've learned my lesson: black PITT liners are the best. I never use most of the pens in value packs, so I'm paying the same price without wasting 6 pens. PITTs don't dry out quickly, they use quality India ink that's layerable, beautiful, and easier to use than a bottle and dip pen, and the size is perfect. The only comparable brand is twice the price, so these are a good value (I do buy two singles of .03 and .05 sizes from that brand).
