Great Quality Pool and Excellent Value
This pool has exceeded my expectations. The construction feels strong and durable, and the size is perfect for family fun and relaxation. The included sand filter pump does an excellent job keeping the water clean and clear, and the additional accessories make setup and maintenance much easier. Assembly was straightforward with clear instructions, and everything arrived as described. Overall, this is a high-quality pool that offers outstanding value for the price.โPros:* Sturdy and durable frame* Spacious and comfortable* Efficient sand filter system* Easy to assemble and maintain* Great value for the moneyI would highly recommend this pool to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable above-ground pool.

Great Pool 14'
We bought the 14' pool. I have had no problem with the filter being adequate. Our water is clear. We did also purchase the intex salt water chlorine generator - that is how we are keeping our pool sanitized. We started out with water sourced from our city water company - not well water. I think that was a good starting point. We also pretty much always keep it covered with a solar water cover. Sometimes we have to take the cover off if it's a bunch of hot days in a row - the water got to almost hot tub level once! It was 96 degrees! But I do think keeping a cover on helps tremendously, whether it's solar or the one that came with the pool. We were expecting a ton of rain and storms, so we did put the cover that came with the pool on when that weather came through so that less rain water would get in the pool. Obviously keeping the pool covered keeps bugs and birds and leaves and things out of the pool. So that helps keep the pool clean and clear.I've enjoyed testing the water and then getting the right chemicals to make it right. I don't need for it to be perfect, but I think it has helped to keep the pool water clear. People who complain about the pump being inadequate - I think they are expecting the pump to do what regular pool maintenance should be doing. I vacuum the pool once a week - sometimes more if I want to. I just bought a small pool vacuum at Lowe's. And I use a leaf skimmer on a pole to skim off bugs and things off the top of the pool. I have to do that when I take the solar cover off because it's hard to take it off perfectly without getting some of the things on the top of the cover into the pool. I do hose the ladder and the outside of the pool off once a week, but that's because I read that can be helpful in preventing corrosion from having a salt water pool. It's been cool this week, and I've kept the ladder out since I last hosed it off since we probably won't be getting in again until the weekend. We went with buying this pool instead of doing a pool membership. So far it will pay for itself in 2 years. Has been so nice to get home, throw my suit on, and float outside for 30 minutes while the sun is still shining.I have doing some actual swimming in the pool also. It's just great. Was easy to put together with two people.Prep to make the ground even is a chore, but that is just what it is. We will probably take it down this year so we can improve some spots that are still uneven. We are a family of five, and this pool is a good starting size. Two or three adults/teenagers can float and my 11 year old can splash and dive around to her heart's content. My daughter had her 11th birthday party, and her friends spent hours in the pool! There were six girls and it was perfect.

Sturdy and strong, even 5โ off level!
We bought this pool on a whim to keep our kids busy this summer. They didnโt need a massive pool and I wasnโt sure Iโd love all the work it can take to maintain one, so the 16โ was a good choice.Shipping was fast for a freight item. It was due to arrive on a wed I believe, and tracking updates just stopped after a few moves, but a few days later I noticed the truck pulling off. After walking outside I found a box on a pallet as close to the house as they could get.Unpacking went smoothly, I organized all the parts and unwrapped the liner allowing it to sit in the sun about an hour or so before manipulating.Side rails installed quickly without much effort, and I didnโt have issues with the last connection. Then I installed legs in an every other leg fashion until the side was raised. Then I spun the pool around to where the filter holes would be in the right position.Climbed in and walked the wrinkles out of the bottom and began filling with water. 3 days later it filled to the top with water, only it showed a 5โ difference from side to side despite me spending days trying to correctly grade the spot it sits on with the 2x4 trick. While I was concerned about the amount of water pressure on the low side, but after watching a few videos online I realized I wasnโt the only one. I was pleased to find zero leaks. 2 months later and lots if swimming and itโs doing great. Iโll take it down this fall and relocate it to a more level location next year. May even pour a concrete pad for it to sit on.I made sure to level the legs perpendicular to the ground as the pool was set up, and then continue to check them and adjust as the pool filled. A bubble level works well here.As far as the included accessories, they are so so.The ladder is a flimsy joke, but it works, and it will hold up to 300 lbs. we replaced it with a beefier ladder with child security features. The pump and sand filter work, but the flow rate is a little low, and it needs to be backwashes at least once a week if not more when running 24/7. It functions correctly however and keeps the pool crystal clear. Everything was included to get the pool running other than pool sand, which I purchased on amazon.Havenโt used the cover because we donโt really have any trees in the area.We purchased the Intex magnetic pool light and that has been a hit for night swims. We also tried the skimmer attachment but it really doesnโt work very effectively, especially when no one is in the pool and the water is calm. Ended up removing it.I purchased a 5 way drop test kit which helped me get my water in line, and honestly after a couple of weeks chasing it, now all I have to do is add a chlorine tablet to my floater once a week. I vacuum the pool using the intex accessory kit once a week, and I backwash the filter once a week. Test strips work well and keep an eye on CYA levels, but drops are harder to mess up.I will update next year as to how teardown and reassembly goes, and whether the pool lives up to its 2 year warranty. If we manage to get 3 or more years out of this pool I will likely stick with Intex for a while. The cost of these pools and even replacement parts outweighs the cost of an in ground pool by far, and many more permanent above ground pools.***********Update:After surviving all year at a 5-6" difference in level, the pool came down easily and stored well. I dried my liner in the sun and tossed some corn starch baby powder inside the liner to keep it from sticking and help it stay dry. I just want people to be aware that you don't have to be perfectly level and worry. Just make sure that the legs are parallel to the ground and watch them for signs of movement over the months. Next year I plan to pour a small concrete pad to place the pool on, and i will help protect the liner with a pad to lay between the concrete and the pool. This to me is the easiest way to ensure it's a level stable surface, but this is taking things to an extreme.1 year update******So we decided to pour an extension to our patio this year and relocate the pool there. The level is now much closer with the porch having about a 1โ drop from end to end.The pool went up nicely after storage. I repeated the setup steps from the first time and found that the addition of corn starch based powder inside the liner kept it dry and mold free. It actually want up much quicker the second time.We decided to install it over 1โ foam board insulation which was taped along the seams with wide heavy duty sealant tape. This provided a footing for swimmers and injury prevention as an accidental bump wouldnโt be hitting straight concrete. It also seems to insulate the pool from the ground temp and keeps the pool warmer. We upgraded the pump last year to the next highest level, I seem to believe it was the 2800GPH Intex with the filter basket built in. This pump seems to be easier to maintain and only needs backwashing once a week, but I could let it go longer. I honestly spend about 30 minutes a week maintaining the pool, itโs that simple. We are believers in Intex. We will recommend them to others that want to try a pool before making a major commitment on something like an in ground, or those on a budget that otherwise might not have the ability to swing an extravagant purchase like a professionally installed pool.

Durable & looks great
Great quality, heavy duty, had 2 large pool parties lots of jumping in & the pool handled it fine. Love Intex only brand of pool I would buy.

its not worth it
As a long-time Prime member, I have always valued the convenience and reliability of shopping on Amazon. However, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the product I recently purchased through a third-party seller on Amazon. The pool I bought less than a year ago has broken into four separate areas, despite being under a one-year warranty.I am appalled by the lack of quality in the product and even more frustrated by the run-around I am receiving in trying to get replacement parts. I was informed that only a limited number of parts could be replaced under the warranty, requiring me to purchase the rest. This is unacceptable and goes against what was promised at the time of purchase. I expect a resolution to this issue and for the manufacturer to honor the one-year warranty as advertised.I had purchased additional insurance through Amazon to cover such issues, but when I reached out for assistance, I was told that the manufacturer's warranty only covers certain parts. I am disappointed by the lack of assistance provided despite having both warranties in place.I am have reached out to see if there is any way for Amazon to help resolve this matter or provide further assistance. I was told I would have to ship back the broken product which is going to cost me almost $200 in shipping in order for me to either get a refund or for them to resolve the issue.

Great pool!
I was nervous to upgrade our 12x30 Intex pool to the larger one because it seemed like it would be way more maintenance, but I have zero regrets! We went with the 16x48 and it was larger than I was expecting. We do have a smaller yard, so I think the size perception would vary depending on the yard size you're putting it in. I would've gone with the 14x42 but we wanted the extra depth that this one had.Assembly and setup of the actual pool was the easy part, the more time consuming part was leveling our ground which took a few days. We rented a sod remover, then leveled the ground using sand to fill in. Based on some youtube videos we watched, we used foam insulation board as a base instead of using the ground cover it came with. This of course added time and money to the setup, but in the end was well worth it. The floor of the pool now feels comfortable and smooth with no rocks or anything poking through, and I think it actually helps keep the water warmer too.Once the ground was all ready, the pool went up and filled up quite fast. We used two hoses to fill and it took about 8 hours to fill completely. Filter works great as long as you routinely backwash it as you're supposed to. Water maintenance is basically the same as our smaller pool, chlorine and baking soda and it's been crystal clear all summer. We finished the border of the pool with river rock and belgian blocks, added LED lights all around for nighttime ambiance. My only gripe about the set is the ladder it came with, which we will replace with a better one next summer. The ladder is fine for kids, but a bit terrifying for larger adults as it wobbles and is very steep climbing out of. The pool is very solid too, it would take a lot to tip it. Overall, we've enjoyed this pool all summer, and look forward to using it for summers to come!

Great but had a seam hole..
Love the size of this pool and definitely the filter with it being a sand one not like the filters you have to buy all the time.. Down fall why I give 3 star is because we set the pool up for the summer (on top of sand) realized on the 100ยฐ days, the sand was still wet. It has a hole unfortunately we beileve in the seams. Other than that would be a great pool!

Quality product, excellent service
I ordered the pool back in April. Waited about a couple of weeks and never received it. When I raised the issue to the seller, he immediately offered my money back or a replacement pool. Very courteous and amazing customer service. The pool arrived quickly and we had time to set it up 2 weeks ago. What great fun and easy to put it together. Itโs true it takes about an hour to set it up. Now my family enjoys it every day. The pump works great. The pool is solid. Great purchase, quality and the seller is also very accommodating and understanding. A+++++

Fortunately no pieces missing and keeping an eye for any leaks . But very easy to set up ;)
Well it already arrived. UPS hasn't updated that it was delivered . Maybe because it was literally falling out of the box when it did arrive. I took video of the condition right when it arrived as I wanted to make sure we weren't missing pieces or any damage to the liner. Only one rail had a little ding in it that I'm not too concerned about. We are keeping an eye on one inseam on the inside as it seemed a little rough and we honestly have gotten so much rain lately , we can't tell if it's leaking. It was very easy to set up . We got some buckets of hot water , poured it in to make it easier to tug on the bottom all around the outsides and completely flattened the liner before throwing the hose in that had cold water only. The inflow into the pool could use some improvement to circulate it better . The out take hoses could use a support on the outside like the inflow has . ( or you have air pockets ) I'm fortunate to have a 3D printer that can easily do those to add. We decided to spend a little more to go with the sand filter for easy backwashing instead of changing out costly basket filters that are a pain. So far the filter seems to be doing a beautiful job of keeping it clean . Beautiful pool and hoping for some consistent warm weather to heat it up more. ( We did have to purchase a solar blanket , it does not come included ) So ya, at the cost for this pool I think they can improve the overall box it comes in , some corner protectors , and secure the bottom better :)

Leaks
Ordered and received this pool pretty quickly . Leveled the ground and put the pool the pool together and started to fill it up and noticed water pooling on the side from underneath the pool . We continued to fill it cause we thought it was just from the pump . Nope ! We then drained it and trried to find out where the leak is coming from . We proceeded to seal the the seams with flex tape and the filled the pool again and we had the same issue . So, the leak is not on the seams it is somewhere else . Spoke with the company and they wonโt send me a new pool unless I dismantle this one and send it back in perfect condition . Well it leaks and now has flex tape on it so itโs not in perfect condition . Still trying to figure out what to do .Unhappy customer

Awesome pool!
This is our 2nd Intex pool. The first one lasted us 7 years and would have gone longer, but I didn't build my pad properly or use a ground covering, so we ended up getting tear in the bottom. We patched it with no problem, but I just wanted to upgrade. Super easy set up and I love the sand filter. The only disappointment is that the ladder doesn't have a platform like my other pool, so I'm not able to put drinks or my phone on the platform and had to buy a little table that sits on the side of the pool, which is no big deal. I'll always buy Intex pools until we buy or build a house with a permanent pool ๐
