Hair Chalk

I have mixed feelings. It's my first time trying anything like this and it was honestly waaay more difficult than expected. You need lots of effort to put the dye in and even then it goes off pretty easily afterwards. I loved how the color looked on my hair, it felt natural. However, it did leave behind a weird texture. Overall, not bad for the price. I'd advice not to expect much from it tho...

These are fun for a few uses. Fun colors and a pretty good deal! If you are wanting something more permanent, these aren't for you. These fade and wash out easy. That makes these perfect for our family because it's against the dress code at the school for my girls to have colored hair and they can apply it on a weekend and wash it out before Monday.My girls and I all have long hair. Each color really only did a small portion of hair a couple of times, or half of our long hair once. One color wouldn't be able to do an entire head.They didn't stain any of our clothes or dye our hands and they have no unpleasant chemical smell like other products.Overall, we would buy these again.

With *a lot* of effort you can get a little color onto hair with these. But too much effort and the (very wasteful) plastic comb will just snap, making it even harder to use them. And the line between not enough force to get color onto hair and too much force that snaps them is almost invisible, it's so thin. My child has blonde hair, and even then it takes a lot of work to get visible color. There has to be an easier, more efficient, and less wasteful (all that plastic!) delivery system for hair chalk. I end up with it all over my hands anyway, so why not just provide a solid piece of chalk without all the plastic waste getting in the way?

Miss B states that this needs water to apply to hair, otherwise it's chunky. It takes some time to dry, about an hour. She was disappointed that it doesn't really look like the colors reflected in the photo.

It didn't work well for dark brown/black hair. I purchased for my daughter. the darker colors actually showed up a little better. We used them on here barbies instead.

Love the concept but hard to apply enough to get darker color even on bleached hair. Had to tease my son’s hair to get as much color as possible and he complained a lot.

Kids had fun with it, but the chalk color broke very easy and it really doesnt go on so easy.

These were oily, came right off in hand regardless of glove. They also kept pulling my hairh out and a few of the casings just fell apart in the process. I like the idea of the product and I like the comb execution. It was nice for my daughter to handle one side while I did the other....outcome big thumbs down I felt bad.
