Classic Trench
This trench coat is well constructed and very high quality. It looks great over formal attire but can also elevate a casual look. It has a slightly loose fit as expected with this style but can be cinched with the belt. It’s light weight, ideal for spring or fall. Just enough to cut the chill and keep you dry in the rain, but not overly warm. This is my second LF trench, the first had a plaid flannel lining which - while very soft and pretty - always made me sweat. This one is perfect!! For length reference, I am 5’9” and it hits just below my knee.

Nice coat, runs big
I normally buy a Large in things. I ordered this coat in a medium and it’s VERY roomy inside. I’d definitely recommend sizing down 2 sizes. The coat arrived more than a day early so that was excellent, well packaged and great presentation. The belt is super super long and the length hits me about mid-calf and I’m 5’4, 150 lbs with a 32” waist & 42” hips. The material seems quality but it’s not a thick coat by any means. It’ll be perfect for covering my midi-length dresses I wear to work.

Amazing raincoat
This London Fog raincoat is a perfect fit I bought a small and extra small because I did not know which would fit better . I am 5’4 1/2” and 105 lbs. the extra small fits the best . I can hardly wait to “ break it in “ I like my trench coats to not be stiff I want them to be soft and drape over my clothing to look new but like I have owned it for years . I returned the stone small for an extra small and kept the black extra small . London Fog is the best and they last for ever I have purchased them for gifts 18 times and no one ever returned theirs . It is an iconic brand I never want to be caught in the rain without one of mine . The price is great you pay more in a store . Do not purchase these cheaper coats you see because you will be disappointed by the fabric and the fit . London Fog always has the best fabric not thin or heavy and looks good on everyone it makes a wonderful Christmas present .

Beautiful coat, runs big though!
This is a great coat- high quality, attractive, and has nice detailing. London Fog has a rep for their superior quality for a reason. However, DO listen to the reviews on sizing. Those who say that it runs large are 100% correct. Sizing down is a must, even if you're a bigger girl. Now, I'm chubby and very busty. I normally wear a 2X. I saw the review warning buyers to size down, but the woman pictured in the review was a lot slimmer in build (and far less busty) than me. I also can't tell you how many times I've buttoned a 1X coat, only to have it look ridiculous with straining buttons at the chest that look as if they could come flying off if I so much as even sneezed. So, I ordered the 2X. I shouldn't have. It was so loose and baggy that I looked like a little girl who had taken her mother's coat to play dressup in. Seriously, it was ridiculous.I exchanged for a 1X and it fits perfectly (with a tiny bit of room to spare). So, while I still very much recommend this coat, I also reccomend heeding the reviews and ordering a size down.

Beautiful Trench.
Just got this today and by chance it is pouring outside. This is a gorgeous trench coat. In typically London Fog fashion, the attention to detail is amazing. I'm 5'4" 130 and the small fits perfectly. Could wear a light sweater underneath, but nothing heavy. It is lined, but the lining is a thin polyester. Which isn't a bad thing. It's just that I was looking for something a bit heavier. Therefore I will be sending it back so I did't get to test out whether or not it's waterproof. I would say it's more likely water resistant.

LOVE this coat!
I was a little nervous purchasing a coat online, but when I tried this one on, it fit as if it had been made for me! :) It's the perfect weight for rainy weather, and looks so stylish.

Great coat, Great construction. Great coverage!
Pros: Love the coat overall! Love the color, coverage. Roomy! Buttons up tight to not let water/rain/wind in!Cons: Would love to have a detachable hood to protect from rain when it is difficult to manage carrying an umbrella. Belt is VERY LONG!!! will probably have to alter it by cutting it shorter.

This is high quality coat, good investment piece
This is a treat for find on Amazon as I had one years ago and was disappointed when it no longer fit. The fit is a bit boxier than with some trench coats. The fabric and lining are high quality. The coat is well made as per the quality one expects with the London Fog company. Even my grandmother would rave about London Fog coats many years ago. I am keeping the 1X and returning the 2X. I am disappointed that the 2X is $50 more and I would appreciate a discount from the company. The length is good for a professional look as it provides good coverage when getting in and out of vehicles. I chose the black for durability in bad weather (and occasional coffee spills...). The beige is lovely on some people but the upkeep dissuades me from the beige. The black is a deep black and not faded in appearance. I would highly recommend this coat. It is a workhorse piece that will last many years.

Beautiful coat but terrible chemical smell
I love this coat. I have wanted a London Fog classic trench now for some time, and the price offered was very good. The coat was packed well, and needs a good steam as others have pointed out. It fits well - it is generous sizing but perfect for me as I can layer a blazer or sweater underneath. When I opened the package there was a chemical smell that was overpowering. It is still airing outside (second day now) and the smell has dissipated but still not gone. It may be some kind of treatment on the fabric. I will have to see if the smell goes away, otherwise, it will have to go back. I’m so disappointed.

Trustworthy London Fog trenchcoat offers quality
This London Fog coat offers great cover from rain or sleet, even. Excellent quality material, excellent sewing, excellent look. I didn't want this coat for warmth, but with a sweater under it, it would certainly cut the wind. I trust London Fog because I have a 15 year-old black trenchcoat that still looks quite good and has been washed several if not many times just at home in my washing machine. I'm looking forward to a lot of good wear from this new London Fog. It doesn't have a hood to bunch up on me, so I can wear any kind of hat with it. It's great! And I count it a bargain, too.

Good quality - with all traditional features.
This coat has all the features/buttons/snaps, and quality I expect from a LF trench. Photo does not do the coat justice.

Well made. Colour and plus sizing is perfect. Great value.
I like that the colour is more beige than stone. The fit is a little loose which is perfect for wearing jackets and sweaters underneath. The full length is also perfect for cool or rainy days. My only problem is that the material is very creased from the packaging and are difficult to get rid of. I've tried washing the coat and steaming it, with no success.
