Very affordable, great for disguising meds/supplements
I use this to blend in "zesty paws" (1 senior supplement and 1 skin/coat supplement) and also to disguise a daily prescription. This is very affordable, she loves it, and for a little variety every once in a while I'll get her the next most reasonably priced Beneful assortment, but this is what she's getting 80% of the time. The subscribe and save price is outstanding. I remember wet dog food when I was growing up (in the 1970s) that would make you gag. You can actually see the vegetables and chunks of meat in this. The smell doesn't make you want to gag. My "niece" gobbles it up. A suggestion if you are using it the way I am to disguise supplements and medication: if you have a dog that will inhale this you may be better off spreading this out over the course of a few servings per day to ensure the meds and supplements are actually digested. My "niece" only gets 3 ounces daily (1/3 of the container) - the one day I set all 3 ounces out at once I had little upchuck surprises all over my home. Gratefully I have easy to clean laminate flooring… Just a little friendly advice from a person who learned the hard way and whose "niece" didn't keep her med/supplement down. I also reviewed this with her vet since I had been hiding her medications in store brand thin turkey. Her vet would much rather have her get the medications and supplements in something specifically created for a dog's digestive system. There are higher end dog foods, but her vet is perfectly satisfied with her health using Beneful and I'm grateful Amazon carries this at a price that keeps her Healthy.
