Based off the reviews I assumed it wouldn’t be good quality, I am pleasantly surprised! It’s great quality and I recommend it fully!

These salt stones are very good, with the exception of one or two of them having internal cracks. They will eventually break, but I’ll replace them at that time. They were packaged very well (each stone wrapped in plastic and in its own small box, like a bar of soap). I’ve already sanded and seasoned the stones with jojoba oil, and I’ll be using them for the first time today at work (I’m a licensed massage therapist, and Himalayan salt stone massage is one I’d my services). To the people complaining about these stones disintegrating, please apply the filter of common sense here. These are SALT stones, and you cannot clean them with water, as you would with basalt hot stones. Salt stones need to be cleaned with a misting of Decon 30 and wiped dry. Also, to the people complaining about getting scratches and skin irritation from the stones, these stones have to be maintained (sanded/smoothed) regularly because they do microscopically degrade, even with proper usage. I did this immediately after unpacking them. These stones, with proper care, will last for years.

I bought it to take shower with. I realized that after getting it wet, it's not as smooth anymore and hard to use on your skin. I still found it he was to use it by covering it with a glove.

Good product and as described, however, these stones are NOT smooth at all and I find they irritate my skin when using. Caveats: I have never had salt stones for massages (or baths) before, so maybe this is normal? Maybe my skin is too sensitive? Either way, I will be gifting the second in the set to a frenemy.

I used to use a "crystal" deodorant stick, but went I went to buy a new one they had added aluminum to it, which defeats the purpose of buying an aluminum free salt based deodorant, right? I didn't want to mess around reading every label and hoping I would find something I'm not allergic to, so I decided to do the obvious thing and just buy a bar of solid salt. This has worked out perfectly for me. If you go this route, you need to be aware that salt bars need to be applied wet, reapplied (this is not a one and done 24 hour thing), and can make some people itchy (think: rinsing off at the beach).

Pretty, smooth, healthy, multipurpose. I got a bulk package and gave as stocking stuffers to health conscious friends. Each one is about the size of a bar of soap. It does feel good as a massage tool. I like to set mine on top of my electric radiator heater to freshen the air, then hold it to warm my hands or take it to bed to warm my feet, hoping it will do a bit of detoxing as well as warming. Good value for the price.
