GOOD SURPISE FOR THOSE WHO HATE SURPRISES
I purchased this for my husband whom hates surprises, when he opened it, he was exstatic. This is a great bundle for the price. The only thing i woyld add possibly, is a few nick nacks or extras, maybe a magnetic mat, or helping hands accessories for cheap or even an added bonus. Possibly add some flux to it. My husvand is telling everyone about this kit and the amazing price we paid.

Great value
This set blew me away. My husband has been wanting a set for quite some time. For his birthday I got him this set and he was so excited with everything that came in it. It was way more than he expected. It’s a really great deal for the amount of tools you get.

Everything you need!
This kit was complete! Everything you could possibly need or want for a solder kit that is travel ready. The case is nice also! A lot of components inside! The only thing that made me sad was that all the components were not in there rightful place when it arrived. Looks like UPS was a little tough on the package! If you're looking for a solid soldering iron. Choose this!

Good bang for your buck. Perfect for beginners.
I think this a great product for beginners and based on price. You can't buy expecting top of the line quality but it is good for what you pay and good for learning. I would say the weak point are the tips but still good for a couple good uses. All the tools include really help out. I used this to practice on a video game console circuit board and learned alot. Hope to eventually upgrade to an even higher quality one

One package with all the tool you need.
Good package. Baseically includes everything you need. I use it to fix my baby girl's toy which is a small shark and will play baby shark when you hit the bottom. It keeps stopping the music and can't play the whole music. Need to redo all the connection. With all the tools and the price is good. Worth the money. Good stuff.

It is working very well.
I used this soldering kit to build my custom keyboard, it worked pretty well. The kit includes everything I need, so I don't have to buy any extra accessories. I am very happy with the kit.

The worst thing ever
Honestly... Everything in this kit is garbage including the case it's in. You will get more accomplished just setting a $20 bill on fire than to have faith in any of these tools to work properly.

The perfect starter kit.
Beginner here, wanting to replace the components of my xbox 360 controller. This kit has everything - and more - for any light soldering project.

Decent value, but not as advertised
I've got a few issues with this kit. First of all, the "60W" soldering iron is not nearly 60W. I understand that this is typical for a lot of these cheap soldering irons. It's quite difficult to keep it hot enough to do standard work on a PCB, but it's doable if you keep the tip clean. I connected it up to a power meter and at the maximum temperature setting, it has an inrush current of 42W when cold, which drops down to 17W steady state in air. Running cold water on the tip brings the wattage up to 24W, which is a higher wattage than this iron will ever put out when actually soldering. For reference, my 25 Watt Weller soldering Iron draws a constant 22-23W at all temperatures, more than this "60W" soldering iron draws while soldering. The "temperature" setting does not control temperature, but is a simple rheostat to raise or lower the wattage, and it's best just kept at the maximum setting. If you read the description, the kit claims to come with solder wick for de-soldering, but it is not actually included with the kit (and seems absent from the photos as well). This was disappointing, as the solder sucker isn't that effective and takes many applications to clear a small amount of solder. The soldering iron and its stand are both very light, about the same weight as the cord itself with the big integrated switch, so it's very easy for it to slide or get knocked over. There is room to put something heavy on it though. The stand also requires a couple of wrenches or pliers to assemble and disassemble properly, which don't come with the kit, and the stand must be disassembled if you want to keep it in the carrying case.Overall, the kit is fairly feature-complete and I suspect most kits in this price range have similar issues, so I'm somewhat satisfied with it.

Yep, this is a perfect kit for a beginner like me.
I got this to try to fix (solder) the wires on the volume knob on my guitar. It worked really well and I now have volume! :D It heats up really well and the solder seems pretty quality. I'm kind of addicted now and have been looking for other electronics in the house to solder haha. I have a Raspberry Pi 4 so I think I'm going to try a project on it with this kit. I'm now also interested in playing with the multi-meter since I have no clue how these things work - I've never had one before.

No Instructions!
It’s suppose to be a starter set? Instructions for how to use the items in the kit would have been nice. Struggling with it but I’m sure that I will eventually figure it out.

Good soldiering iron
Cutters are junk. Philips and flat head bit on the screw driver is small for most (if not all guitar) applications. Sure you can use it but do you want to strip your screws? Bought this mainly for the soldiering iron. Works well. Beware of the tweezers - ends are pointed.
